I got to give the author their flowers only 12 chapters in and I’m already down bad for the manhwa plus the art style is top notch
Nanjo nonchalant attitude never fails to make me laugh he wasn’t moved from the sob story
The bottom always felt like the “chill, whatever, I don’t care kinda person” so it’s funny to see him really angry and throwing punches
Jo stans acting like deranged headless chicken, harassing the author since and now want to act like victims after she called them out
Wet sand ended a long time ago
Move on, Touch grass, pick up a new hobby, go read a Jo x Ian AO3 if you can’t accept the ending or better yet get a life
A lot of you are just crying over spilt milk, if you decide to read a love triangle you should come to peace with the fact that their is a high chance the love interest you like might not end up with the ml even if he’s a green, yellow, blue, black or red flag
Some of you act like children throwing tantrums when they don’t get what they want
Coming back to reread this and the top really pisses me off, baek dohu has told him about his inability to express emotions properly so he has some mental issues but he gets angry at him being a mentally ill patient and not being able to show emotions like damn didn’t he tell you that in the first place
I don’t hate the top but I’m finding it really hard to understand his actions, yes baek dohu did wrong but getting angry at him for not showing emotion is dumb
I think all three of the main characters Ian, Jo and Tj are well written and had the opportunity to be better but I can’t lie season 3 which is the finale was such a let down, so much build up for all three of the characters just for it to feel bland towards the ending
Not the worst manhwa I’ve read but it’s disappointing to see something that started off good just go downhill, so many plot holes, many unanswered questions just to end it with they all lived happily ever after “the end”,
I don’t deny the authors writing skills because season 2 was the peak in the whole manhwa but it felt towards the ending the author did whatever she wanted it could have been pressure from the publishing company or writers burnout, i guess will never know
the ending felt very rushed and wetsand had the opportunity of being a well written bl if you ignore season 3 but it is what it is i guess
Happy that the ship i wanted was the endgame but the ending left me feeling empty (not in a good way) just meh, i can’t deny the amount of plot holes and unanswered questions, i wish the author gave us more
i know we get improved art styles each season but the sudden change of art style in chapter 71-98 compared to 99-100 all in the same season, makes me wonder did they choose to cur some chapters out, did the author get tired, did the author get writer’s block, a sudden plot change? or the crazy fans (from both sides) harassment?
But it is what it is, it’s their book the pen is their hands and they can decide how it ends, we as readers can criticize but not in a toxic way pls stop sending threats or harassing the author, I’m personally unsatisfied with how it ended but not to the point of wishing harm on the author
Final chapter dropped, TJ and Ian confirmed endgame and pls try and reread the manhwa you’ll understand jo never stood a chance (no hate to him) this just purely based how the manhwa has been moving
From the latest update i really hope those who bashed the author for supposedly “promoting staying in toxic relationships” feel foolish for jumping into conclusions ian chose himself in the end
If Jo stans are going to bash the author’s writing, at least give actual criticism and real reasons why. Claiming that the author is promoting or validating toxic relationships or bad choices is not valid criticism because this is a fictional work
At the end of the day, the pencil is in the author’s hand. They’re the creator, we’re all just readers. You don’t know their own characters better than they do.
And this isn’t middle school, where every story needs a moral lesson at the end.
