Obvi if you don’t like my comment just ignore bc it’s irrelevant to you but I am done. There’s no accountability being held whatsoever regarding the rape and it doesn’t seem like there ever will be. Even if both characters were held accountable, ESPECIALLY SU AH, for their actions in later chaps, this cutesy couple BS right after a major assault gives me the ick SEVERELY *SIGH*
Like there are so many things going on and I think I get it but it’d be great to get an overview of everything up to the recent chap to confirm I understand what’s going on…
Su-ah’s inability to respect the word “no” since day one and it resulting in rape should’ve been a huge wake up call for Juhyeok in multiple ways. I’m surprised it didn’t result in him hating alphas more since he already has this prejudice outlook on them anyway. I really thought the plot would dive more into this and cause both of them to have a huge reassessment of self but instead they’re back to their usual antics plus some boo hoo backstory about Su-ah that doesn’t even remotely justify his actions. Idk if I can keep reading if this is just gonna end up being some fluff with assault scattered in it.
obligatory "let's wait and see where this goes" because miracles happen sometimes. but it's not looking good atm.
imagine this in the hands of an author who could actually write flawed characters without favoritism and think through the implications of their setting...
I feel slightly better. In the first few chaps when Juhyeok pushed Su ah away, it seemed more of embarrassment or his prejudice towards alphas, but the last few panels of the latest chap showed he really wants nothing to do with him and GOOD RIDDANCE! Not as much aggression as I would like (Su ah needs his dick cut off and put in a blender), but enough to get the point across. Also it seems the added fluff was intended to defuse the high tension of the last few chaps, but it feels so out of place.
JUHYEOK SHOULD’VE DROPPED KICKED AND PIMPED SLAPPED SU AH THEN TOLD SU AH HE’D NEVER TALK TO HIM AGAIN. I don’t give a flying F*CK if Su ah cries like a b*tch baby. After graping his “best friend” I cannot BELIEVE Su ah had the AUDACITY to say such foolishness as “I’d love to put my kids in you.” I am SO LIVIDDDD. F!CK Su ah. If he doesn’t suffer to the brink of death not an inch of a redemption arch should be given to him. Su ah needs to sufferrrrrrrrrrrrr.
ok… I feel better. I’ve been holding that in for a while especially bc all the talks of ppl harassing authors due to red flag characters/story plots. I have no bad blood with the author at all. Just the bum of a character named Su ah.
