this author really knows how to break your heart and confront you with the harsh realities so many people live through. i love stories like this, where healing and relationships develop naturally over time instead of being rushed. it makes everything feel so much more genuine and impactful. but after finishing this manhwa, i desperately need something that’ll make me laugh until i cry instead of cry until i can’t breathe lol
i really enjoyed this manga because of how well it handled so many different themes, like figuring out your sexuality, the double standards around male and female friendships, the uncertainty of the future, and the fear of making the wrong choices.
my only real complaint is the ending. honestly, it felt pretty rushed. i don’t mind taichi ending up with touma at all, but i wish we had actually seen how taichi’s feelings developed. instead, the timeskip skips over the most important part of their relationship and leaves everything up to the reader’s imagination. i would’ve loved a few more chapters showing taichi realizing his feelings and how their relationship slowly grew into something romantic.
other than that, i loved the way the author wrote the characters and explored their emotions.
