Well the start of this entire relationship was rocky anyway, idk if you remember but the ml was repulsed by his confession bc he's a beta due to his trauma, so from the mc's pov they're in a "relationship" but he doesnt really love him, won't do anything physical with him except hug him? but he wants to keep him bound to him, and I could be wrong, but I remember the ml stating that they could've worked if the mc was an omega, so what's there for the mc to repair? Ig he stayed for this whole plot to work anyway, which imho doesn't make a lot of sense ╮(￣▽￣)╭
