yes, it's normal
Update notifications come at fixed times (5am and 5pm in my timezone). For example if something is updated at 6am it'd still be notified at 5pm together with others that were updated in between 5am-5pm.

I get that, but the mc himself except for declaring his love once 7 years ago didn’t really do anything romantic. He just says he’s tired of his relationship but does nothing to repair the relationship.

Well the start of this entire relationship was rocky anyway, idk if you remember but the ml was repulsed by his confession bc he's a beta due to his trauma, so from the mc's pov they're in a "relationship" but he doesnt really love him, won't do anything physical with him except hug him? but he wants to keep him bound to him, and I could be wrong, but I remember the ml stating that they could've worked if the mc was an omega, so what's there for the mc to repair? Ig he stayed for this whole plot to work anyway, which imho doesn't make a lot of sense ╮(￣▽￣)╭
