Sure !! Fair warning, a lot of it is subjective ^^

Spoiler free version: I really like the DMIYC artstyle, I like Dane a lot, and the characterization of Grayson so far as really changed how I think about him. I think the story basis is a lot more interesting, even though KML and DMIYC both take place in work settings. I also think the dynamic of a serious omega who is buff with a crazy alpha like Grayson who is pretty !!

Tradfujos would probably prefer KML, and it's not like I didn't like it myself!! Yeonwoo is absolutely precious and I like how Keith folded for him.

Firstly, I find Grayson to be a more interesting character than Keith.

Keith is an asshole (all dominant alphas are twisted in some way, but he's mainly just a jerk). I don't really find him all that interesting. He didn't really want to settle down or marry, and was fine just letting off pheromones with women, and doing his actor job. The reason this changes is due to accidentally sleeping with Yeonwoo, who is incidentally the person Keith ends up liking sex with the most. Grayson is also okay with letting off pheromones as a necessity, but is specifically looking for his fated mate. I think that kind of mentality is a lot more interesting than Keith's!

Grayson's family seems like it's going to be some kind of plot point, which will be very interesting since the Miller family is a big part of this series. In terms of the Pittman family- Keith's omegan father, Angel, was used as a brief jealousy plot to bring him and Yeonwoo back together. It was underwhelming, especially since their pillow talk was about how Angel has four alphas who essentially love trapping and torturing him. We get a sense for how Keith views omegas through this, but we already had that idea based on his reaction to Yeonwoo's SA (And his own subsequent rape of Yeonwoo).

I think Grayson and Dane's dynamic (at least so far) is a lot more equal than Yeonwoo and Keith's. Obviously physically (since Yeonwoo is very itty bitty) but also mentally ! Dane has a lot of sex as well, and is a lot more jaded. While I love Yeonwoo and his development, I wish he dragged Keith around a bit more before forgiving him. Plus, the whole reason he became an omega was Keith in the first place.

Grayson somehow comes off as innocent, in a very peculiar way, because he's not actually aware of people? If that makes sense? He doesn't understand social cues and how he should/shouldn't communicate, but he's also incredibly smart and has learned to tell what people want and how he should act to garter favor if he needs it. I think that contradiction is so good at explaining /why/ he acts the way he does in the other stories.

In KML he was a creep to Yeonwoo and offered his dog for his heat, plus he hung around Keith since they're friends and whatnot. In KMIYC it's revealed how he used to torture Chase and how he tricked him into believing he'd spent his rut with a dog. He also brings up Bliss, their omega brother, as an option during rut. I think DMIFYC actually offers a very interesting insight into Grayson, who just comes off as a gross asshole in other stories.

ANYWAY I do have more to say but this is already ridiculous so I'll just say this: give it a chance !!

Seonwoo 1 COMPARED jeehee and chorok in the human world to the guideverse world where he was stuck in when he was 9.

Also... I think the two timelines of I mentioned kinda made sense...

The 20 ish seonwoo entered the game at that age before jeehee got attached to him and they both grew a relationship.

"But, what about 9 yr old seonwoo timeline?"


In this timeline, this is where jeehee regressed with the orb AFTER seonwoo died at the first timeline(chp 1-59).The orb and jeehee's regression created a DIFFERENT TIMELINE, where instead of seonwoo entering the game at 20,he entered at 9 years old. Basically, jeehee and the orb RECONSTRUCTED the whole story. In the chp 61 or in the new timeline, it looked obvious that seonwoo NEVER met or got close to jeehee. But after bumping into jeehee in the human world? This is where they grow another relationship, where both of them never had memories of the past timeline.

Still confused about the timeline? Let me break it down:

Timeline a = the timeline where seonwoo 1 entered the game at 20 ish and met & got close to jeehee in the guideverse world in this timeline (chp 1-60)

Timeline b = is the current timeline we are at(chp 61), this timeline was created by jeehee after the death of seonwoo 1 in the dungeon around chp 59-60. Jeehee made a whole different timeline with the same events but entirely different.

It has that yes, but like they develop everything really well AND THE SIDE COUPLES. YOU DONT UNDERTSAND. THE SIDE COUPLES ARE PEAK AND WHERE ITS AT. Plus, it makes you appreciate the characters from superstars even more ;;

Also I just reread the main story and they’re totally exaggerating. Rather than rape, it’s more like dub-con because of omegaverse heat and rut logic. Not to mention, the bottom technically got pregnant during a time he came onto the top while in heat. Honestly, most of the story is the bottom being pregnant and kind of taking advantage of the top, since the top is trying to win him over before the baby is born. He lets him go when he really wants to leave, so he doesn’t really try to baby trap him.
