look not to start crying again oo the novel is better, but they removed the (huge) part where the esper had this "conflicting feelings" over the guide being the guy he fights with and the guy who saved him, and the guide teasing him non stop abt it
like the guide would do stupid shit and esper will be trying his best to be patient (its the guy who saved me!! the man i love!!) but the guide would continue to tease him until gets angry and they start bickering again, or guide using "i am the guy who saved you respect me mf and let me put shoes in the entrance" and esper being obediently like okay
and, esper finally found a solution : whenever he pisses me off, i kiss him until he short circuits, and it worked a bit too well...

when i heard the rape was manhwa only i was like wtf and went to read the novel, finished it (honestly its better than manhwa a lot) but there was a line that did strike me weird, when they were disscussing/talking abt when the guide "helped" (by raping him when he was in need of guiding because he was like "idc abt the consequences i just need to save him") the esper, they were talking how "it had no sexual pleasure" and was done out of necessity so its wasnt counted as "sex", then for consolation the esper said "well if the same happened to you, i would also make the same decision(and do forced guiding)", which he didnt actually do earlier in the novel when the guide needed help getting rid of excess energy and went for a more medical approach instead of "sleeping". so i think the manhwa artist also went like "lemme fix this inconsistency" or smt? like both sides "forcefully" saving each other???
