I think the biggest problem ppl are having with the side couple is that we simply don’t really know them. Unlike other stories where both the main and side cast/couple are in close proximity; So-yi being in a different class/friend group from Byul and Bin being in a completely different grade, just puts way to much distance between all the characters. This makes it harder for the author to organically engineer situations where everyone is present and where the audience can be smoothly exposed to the side couple.
Instead we’ve ended up with the feeling that the side couple is being “shoved” down our throats because during the main story, we simply didn’t interact with them as side character enough to get invested in their story and want to see whole chapters dedicated too what they have going on.
While I don’t think most of the comments intended to be lesbophobic as ppl simply just don’t care about the girls; the way some ppl are voicing their lack of interest is just that, and a LOT of the comments specifically in reference to Bin straight up reek of misogyny
It really was a nice, casual read and I really enjoyed the childcare aspect(especially as this genre wasn't very popular in coloured works when this series first released). The ending did feel a bit rushed as we don't get to a confirmation as to how the other side stories ended, but considering this series was almost 350 chapter long, I'm not surprised and think it was for the best.
Considering it's length and age, this series probably won't get a lot of reads from current/future audiences who hadn't already started it; So to all my sisters who have been hear for the past 5/6 years... congratulations to us and happy reading

We knew that he wasn’t from the desert but rather the northern hemisphere of a European style continent. However, this being “ye times of old”, the Gundam/mecha figures are completely out of place, not to mention the whole “it comes from a world I can never return to” thing.
My theory is that Gwen probably transmigrating into a Crown prince vs Duke of the north style romance novel and has either
1. Competed the original storyline, gained all the op abilities, befriended the FL/ purposely set her up with his love rival and is now exploring the rest of the world. Or
2. Due to his ‘free’ personality, he took little to no interest in the plot of the main story and focused on grinding out his skills so he could comfortably explore the rest of the world.
Either way, our story likely takes place in the desert side region where the romance novels foreign envoy/big merchant would come from(they are probably from a neighbouring country tho)
The other novel 'I see your stats' is in the same universe. There you get more explanation about the world building.
