And when his uncle finally calls him at the UNHD.there is absolutely zero basic human empathy. No "Are you bleeding?", no "Are you terrified?", no "I'm so sorry I let this happen to you." Instead, the uncle's attitude is.: "Oh, you're alive? Great. Get back to the base. Your twin needs your good luck so he doesn't die. It is incredibly twisted. They treat Taeui like a biological shield or a lucky charm rather than a nephew. The fact that his uncle only values Taeui's survival because it guarantees Jeongjae's survival is sickening. Taeui is being treated like an extension of his twin, a tool to keep the "precious scientist" safe so they can keep making weapons. Sorry if I am wrong.I haven't read the novel yet.
