And when his uncle finally calls him at the UNHD.there is absolutely zero basic human empathy. No "Are you bleeding?", no "Are you terrified?", no "I'm so sorry I let this happen to you."
Instead, the uncle's attitude is.: "Oh, you're alive? Great. Get back to the base. Your twin needs your good luck so he doesn't die.
It is incredibly twisted. They treat Taeui like a biological shield or a lucky charm rather than a nephew. The fact that his uncle only values Taeui's survival because it guarantees Jeongjae's survival is sickening. Taeui is being treated like an extension of his twin, a tool to keep the "precious scientist" safe so they can keep making weapons.

THE MC that dumb duck,Walking into an obvious power trap and acting shocked when there are consequences is his full-time Job he steps right into the exact same avoidable mess over and over again, completely ignoring every single red flag waving directly in his face. You could flash a neon sign visible from outer space reading "DANGER: DO NOT ENGAGE" and he would still trip over.
THE MAKE LEAD? Calling him a "trashy bitch" is honestly being generous to him. He doesn't just cross the line; he takes a wrecking ball to it and builds a toxic waste dump right on top of it.
In a good psychological thriller, an unhinged or toxic male lead has layers, motive, or at least a twisted kind of charisma that makes their dynamic compelling to watch (Blind Play mastered this). This guy? He’s just a flat, abusive control freak running purely on sadism and mood. He acts like he bought the entire concept of free will and locked it in a drawer. There is no psychological depth to his obsession just endless, tedious bullying and manipulation wrapped up in expensive suits.
Zero Redemption Arc in Sight,Usually, even toxic leads have something that makes you understand why the plot drags them together. But with him, you're just gonna sit there watching him terrorize an MC who is already too dumb to fight back, making the power imbalance just miserable and exhausting to read instead of thrilling.
