I have always been jaehyuk even when he was an asshole because I know it hurt him to say those things to her, he's just a teenage boy.

I mean she shouldn't forgive him so easily because who does he think he is coming back so after she's finally picked up her pieces?

First I don't want to see the orange pumpkin in my manhwa different version or not, second I was getting bad second hand embarrassment. MC is a good person, I wouldn't try this hard but I would try so that even when it does happen people will be like oh he tried.

But seriously I can excuse dictators and genuinely horrible people in my fiction, we have cultivation manhwas were MCs wipe out bloodlines but fiction or not, painting a guy that has assaulted literal children in a good light is ...not okay. That's just me though.

Honestly there's genuinely kind of no competition he's dating a literal celebrity and from what we know about the female lead should she sense or even smell a fly around her man she won't let things slide ...unless ofc the author mischaracterises her.

Okay genuinely let her be someone else's love interest, we just want to watch mc well cars and rise higher in position.

I read 50 chapters of this, and it's so boring.

He won the lottery, he has a financial back up to stand up to people at work, that's fine whatever. Just a couple of things.
1. This man talks about how winning the lottery has changed his life, but all he's used that money for is buy Korean beef for his co-workers? If he's worked hard all his life the author should have shown him take like a week long vacation minimum finally getting to relax but the same day he checks the lottery, he goes back to work?
2. So much unnecessary dialogue, dragged on useless plots that could have cut down the chapters hugely, just wasting the artists time drawing this, unless the author and artist are the same person.
3. I'm disappointed in him, he talks about how he's sad about his financial situation, talks about getting rid of that piece of shit brother in law but nothing, worst off he couldn't even bring himself to punch him only imagine it? Some brother he is, he spoke about how important his sister is to him but he couldn't even punch his abusive brother in law? Lame.
4.He hasn't really changed at work, I thought he'll bring drastic changes to his work life since he's bold and doesn't care about losing his job anymore....he still acts like he has no financial backing especially to that snake like boss of his, if he really didn't care about his job as he's emphasized over and over, why is he taking the constant abuse from him?
5. There's no direction, what are his goals? To be chairman? Own a penthouse? What's driving him, nothing it's just sad to see.

Good concept though but bad execution.

I've read 28 chapters, I'm updated and when I saw the comments I was expecting something atrocious. It's not.

This is kind of a romance targeted towards male readers, but it's literally the same as romance targeted towards female readers, and I love romance all the same. A girl that fell in love with this boy, wanted to marry him and waited ten years for him? I can name couple of male characters that do the whole love at first sight as children and wait for years thing, I'm not picky I love such things, so I enjoyed this.

Secondly I was afraid the female lead would be a ... as bland as boiled chicken and salt, but no I adore her, she's so cute, this girl held down the territory after her father in law died, she never gave into her asshole parents, we see her leadership skills from time to time, she just has a shy personality, but when it matters she's solid and that's amazing.

Third the main character...is well thought out? Surprising because our male MCs never really go through trauma like he is, they usually just aura farm the whole time but this MC is oddly human in a way I really love, like we see him have nightmares, we see that he hates his father but still loves him deep down, we see him acknowledge the fact that running away to the battlefield wasn't a good idea and that his actions had consequences, he's willing to learn and grow. If I was the female lead I would also wait 10 years for this man.

All in all, this is romance it's in the tags, in the synopsis, hell in the title I don't understand why some readers are complaining it's there; like duh fork found in kitchen.

I also do understand this is not for everyone if you don't like it when the woman falls first? Not for you.

And it's not incel or kid targeted it might feel that way sure, but if we swapped the genders and put it as josei, people would be calling the FL the green flag of the century. Like yes the manhwa is displaying an unrealistic view of the so called perfect woman or wife a certain demographic likes but shes perfect in the same way 6ft CEO/Duke is in other forms of fiction.

You're healthy baby, you can run and stand all day tending to plants, most people are 'visibly healthy '( I mean skinny) can't survive his schedule. He's got a functional body, kind of like in those videos when gym rats try to do actual farm work but can't.

I just like how he's so round and cuddly, I love him like this. I'm going to savor these chapters before he looks like every other manhwa character.

Why hate her? She's just your day to day extrovert, if you've ever been around one you know they are like this, they may unintentionally cross the line but they are not bad people y'all. Plus I love career women, I can't dislike her at all.

That casually lives in a painting, his paintings become sentient and is friends with a goddess. Nothing unusual here folks, all normal.

It's a solid...4.7/10. I've been reading rookie employee since 2024, this manhwa basically introduced me to corporate manhwa (with be the man).

It started out really, really good I remember when I first found it, I binge read the chapters in record time and would be there every single update.

But at some point we lost the plot, by some point I mean this years chapters ( I think the artists, and people involved were tired and wanted it to end.).

Here's my key factors that really bothered me.
1. Towards the end why the main character become a side character in his own manhwa? I understand the side characters are essential to the plot but come on now.
2. The dialogue, you will have two to three chapters of these people talking in a meeting?
3. Why on earth are the women built like that? It's corporate manhwa when there's no female characters on screen, but it turns into pornhwa when they are.
4. The romance between the main character and female lead, it started out sooo good. I was so happy when they confirmed their relationship....but after the relationship was confirmed, we barely got to see them together?
5.The main characters lack of boundaries with other female characters, I understand the target audience for this manhwa are male, but it's plain disrespectful to his girlfriend that he lets these girls too close to him, pressing their boobs against him at any given moment. It's not that he's oblivious, he's reacted to these advances but the main character did not put a stop to it at all.
6. The early chapters, we had the making these deals, going to Kenya etc but at some point that just stopped. It turned into politics, and we had like 10 chapters concentrating on the so called royal family, like I'm not trying to see that I want this dude to go on another business trip and bring the company millions like he did in the beginning.
7. Also of you're going to make the royal family the main focus...their whole family drama and politics was... boring as hell. Like be evil, be cunning, they were kind of meh.
8. What's with the rushed plot, I think most of my complaints wouldn't have existent had the pacing and plot being well thought out.
9. What a boring final chapter, rushed, useless like instead of having the chairman have that conversation with his father in law, they could have alternatively shown the aftermath at the company, seen the boy in jail, see a family dinner between the MCs ordinary family and the FLs chaebol family meeting, or timeskip the chairman with his grandchildren since apparently the whole moral of the story is for the chairman to take a chill pill.

Booo.
I really, liked this manhwa I wouldn't believe you if you told me this would be my review.
