I'm sorry, but I have to say something/ask something. I've read 70 chapters so far and the story seems ALL OVER THE PLACE! Plots have been abandoned, random scenes pop up from chapter to chapter with no coherence, storyline and characters are left with holes. Nothing seems well-planned or thought through. It's like the author keeps remembering to go back or forth to add something and then continues from whatever they came up with that morning. Is there a plot even? I don't understand what are we ecpected to expect.. What is the goal here? Mind you, this is both my personal critique, but also a cry for someone to explain to me if I've misunderstood something or missed the storytelling technique. If it's meant to be just random chapters of the characters' lives then so be it..
the uploads are kind of chaotic bec there's a mature 18+ version (triple crown) that is the complete version from season 2 onwards then this version that has mature scenes taken out, but also loses some of the story bec of that. I would recommend you read season 1 here (up to chapter 37.5) then go to king's maker: triple crown and starting from chapter 1 there.

I will say that season 3 is an absolute trainwreck and really sours the series writing wise so you're kind of entering the part where the story just gets bad. I would still recommend triple crown season 2 though but the quality will dip a lot as you go further.

Thank you. I did just that, and only then did I realize that there was much story and plot missing from what I was reading!
I will say that season 3 is an absolute trainwreck and really sours the series writing wise so you're kind of entering the part where the story just gets bad. I would still recommend triple crown season 2 thoug... NOOO

yeah, I read this when season 1 was still coming out and the quality of the storytelling and art was insane. the author's note after season 1 even mentions how they went back and fixed everything single one of wolfgang's ears bec she thought the old design wasn't as good. then season 2 dropped and it was still pretty good but then season 3 came and I just kind of lost hope both with the plot and the art :( now I just pretend that the series ended at season 2 tbh lol.
