I think that pink concubine is sort of like peaceful negotiation among countries & that’s why he can’t kill him so he killed a nobody to show how he is serious about Tei. So, the others concubine would probably heard that & will stay away (Just my opinion)

Guys, he is the equivalent of an emperor. In any culture, touching an emperor's concubine is a sign of extreme disrespect and treason, and they both would be sentenced to dea**th. Its not about love, its about respect. As he said, he didnt kill the Pink haired as his mother wished (mommy issues in my opinion)

No. The concubines are alive because his mother abhorred the idea of them dying. Shuraka loves his mother and didn't want to further forsake her for killing another. Previous chapter showed Shuraka killing a concubine dying in his mother's arms. Shuraka didn't want a repeat of that.
