I remember a comment on the previous chapter I think? (No shade) but like I think it's obvious why the Mc is still determined to kill Guwon no matter how much loving he is rn, like imagine letting the dude who killed your father without a second thought, killed the beloved doctor, basically beating the shit out of people/ killing them for no reason or for small issues (like the maneger I forgot his name but wtv) for "losing" the key. He literally thought the MC was like a pet??? Mc would be crazy ass shit to let it slide atp.

Idk how to genuinely feel about Guwon. Hes frustrating during the middle and even now. But when you compare your feelings during the first few chapters before the doctor or the execution happened, he was seen as the "a tough looking guy thats actually a golden retriever!" But I think its so interesting. I feel like a lot of people have mixed feelings about him too just like me, but yeah. It's like a 50/50 between hate and also confusing love because he's not exactly "abusive" or anything like that, he's just kind of fucked up and sees people as pets, I think what really stops a lot of people from hating him completely. He "loves" the mc. Hes not hitting him or anything, he's "just" making the mc's life harder by hurting the people that he loves. If we left out the traumatic parts that made the mc's perception of Guwon changed, it would've been a simple, sweet, fluff. And the fact tha we were lwk convinced in the in the few chapters thinking that Guwon didnt actually give a shit about mc and then suddenly knowing that Guwon actually does love the mc (in his own fucked up way of course)

tbh when I read like the first nd few chapters, I thought he was just some "soft on the inside, tough on the outside" type of thing. Even when Woojin's father got executed, I thought he was just childish nd probably doesn't know shit, but NOOOOOO. I love the plot, though. As expected of the author of the same PEAK manhwa. Bless.
I love the art style, I love the beginning but it's honestly becoming a pattern for me one of them has somebody that they know that likes them and is competing with either the blonde/black haired dude.
