The characters are extremely well written, the author must have been through a similar situation, mysefl included and thats how I can tell you this is exactly how it feels, for her and for him as well. The artist is so talented, if you pay attention at the begining of the manhwa theres so many details that explain the development of their behavior from past to present. Fictionally speaking, I love the ML because he's not the typical lone wolf focused solely on the MC. He's crazy, but he has his objectives clearly defined. I love that he truly acts like a sadistic narcissist and love the attention (≧▽≦), and being intelligent, when he sets out to torture someone, he does it both physically and mentally (that torture scene with the gray-haired guy really shocked me ( ･﹏･)). I like how the ML's circumstances are narrated and why he does what he does. I also love that, being a narcissist, he's shown to be deeply affected by the MC's rejection ಡ ʖ ಡ. Consequently, I love how the MC is consistent in his rejection of the ML, vomiting and cleaning himself up whenever he has the chance. He also takes advantage of the ML being injured to inflict more pain on the wound, because he's returning the favor. And above all, I love that as the ML SA/rape MC, he doesn't fall in love like in any other BL ಠ_ಠ. Honestly, the MC's actions seem congruent to me. What else can he do in that kind of situation, being such a thin person with no money and no connections? Of course he looks weak because he truly is, but he does what he can with the resources he has, trying to uphold his values despite his objective. For him, it's right to avenge his sister, whose death took away his entire sense of security. That's why he's not afraid to die, but he's also not afraid to live. When I started reading the manhwa, I thought it would be a quick read of a generic manhwa that I'd abandon immediately, but it's a tremendous gem ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡, and the best part is that it also has a novel, share the link pls (っ˘╭╮˘)っ.
Glad to see someone enjoying the story on a character writing stance!!! All the time I talk abt how I absolutely love how the characters and their dynamics were written. The way the ml's conflicting feelings are portrayed through seeing himself in the mc and wanting him to turn out like the ml. he's frustrated that the mc is choosing another path that the ml couldn't take and thus he gets even more obsessed with him and making him alike. I really love the hell analogy as well!!! Though I love their character and dynamic so bad, I just wish that they wouldn't end up together and the ml would die yk. Like how light (from death note) died at the end even though he's the main character. That sacrifice would be sooo necessary and a cherry on top for the story. Unfortunately since this is a bl it's highly unlikely but I'd like to imagine that alternate ending
Agreed on second note not he pretends to be unhinged and monster which he is not shin very character is very fake himself he made himself into a man like this just to survive even though he says ryujin and him are alike nop they are not shin is very weak emotionally but ryujin is very strong cuz ryujin is like " face it head on" never thought about dying and suicide which makes shin ravish ryujin to point of breaking get ryujin didn't... All can say yahh i also kinda read it for shin but I guess equally for ryujin.
