If you say their love was adult, beautiful then I also have to say that to ME, it was effing ugly since the beginning. A relationship that most adults would prefer to avoid Lmao. Why ugly? Cause they didn't match, Seju could have found someone better while Sumin should have been with someone on the same level as her, Sunhwa for example. Another point some Korean readers noticed was that, Sumin never really had patience for the one who had been suffering from mental abuse like Seju, she rarely stopped her revenge mode to ask what Seju was feeling, she wasn't even sensitive and determined enough to see something was wrong (the assassin was strangling Seju) when coming to Seju's room, calling for for her but she just left immediately after receiving no response while just 5 mins ago she was talking with Seju through phone. Couldn't she think that it was weird? However switching to Won, for 2 times (calling Seju for lunch in chap 111 + chap 118) she patiently stayed there trying to figure out what was wrong and even came inside to check when she got no responses. Sure it was because Won is a bodyguard so she had to think of Seju's safety, but she's just a bodyguard after all, no feelings attachment. While Sumin who has been together with Seju for 17 years yet she still wasn't considerate enough to notice Seju's insecurities, low self-esteem around her, and even angrily asked "What does that have to do with me?" when Seju's brother informed her that Seju might be in danger currently, whether someone would want to get rid of her like her mom or she might commit suicide in the end too. Sumin wasn't at fault, it's just that she didn't, and never loved Seju enough. To a person who had everything like Sumin, Seju was only her first love. But to a person who had almost nothing like Seju, Sumin was her purpose in life. It wasn't equal from the start.

It was clear when the main story ended that Seju let Sumin go. Is this so difficult to accept for some fans? The planned spin offs/side stories were meant to tell different stories involving other characters and those related to Seju were meant to tell her PAST with Sumin and her PRESENT (she finally moving on from what had become a toxic relationship). I admit the recent chapters have a fast pace I don't like so much but this is just my opinion.

So Seju is being way honest and sincere towards Won but somehow I think she was a bit down when realizing Won didn't treat her the same (Not being curious about her or willing to tell Seju more of her story). It's obvious that Seju starts to fall for Won already, if not she wouldn't think of sleeping with her, but does anybody here think Won also likes Seju romantically? Because to me it's too ambiguous when it comes to Won's feelings:
1. Her poker face
2. Okay, she's curious about Seju but isn't as curious as Seju towards her. In short I feel like she doesn't like Seju as much as Seju likes her.
3. Some parts of her past or secrets that she didn't want to tell anyone including Seju even when she asked her for more. As if she didn't see Seju as somebody close to her even though Seju took her time to speak out almost everything about Sumin - the deepest and most miserable part in her heart, and I'm sure besides the fact that she trusted Won enough to tell that, it was also because Seju wanted to know more about Won's love life and expected the same weight of answer from Won but it seemed Won always kept this arm's length relationship.
4. We don't how much sincere is her kindness for Seju, because the problem is would it the same...would she still care for Seju as much as she does now if she isn't paid that much for this job or just if it's not Seju? Is it her nature that she cares for everybody the same? Is Seju even somebody special to her?
i do not agree with your 2nd point. she isn't curious about Seju as such because she already knows of Seju's past from the file Seju's brother gave her. I believe in the file there's everything there is to know about Seju's life.

True that there's many things about Sumin and Seju in the file the brother gave her but there must be a lot of other things that Won hasn't known yet, Seju's feelings after her seperation with Sumin for example and just as Seju said, many things like that. I know it is possible that Won isn't that curious out of respect for Seju but even when Seju granted her chances to know about her more through this game, Won still didn't catch it but instead, it was only Seju who asked her for more information.
Regarding sexual attraction, I thought we all know Seju very well based on everything that happened in the entire story and the way she reacted to people around her. It's not love yet but it's something more than her usual emotions for anyone else, in fact Won is the second person who could make her act this way. She didn't even open up to Sumin, talk about her things and emotions towards a specific story this much, like Sumin said, they only shared about their dreams almost everyday, she could only know about the suicidal incident of Seju's mom, her family issues through Seju's brother, not Seju herself. Sumin knows they treat her bad, but never knows "How" badly she was treated. If Seju's only attracted to Won sexually, I believe she wouldn't give af about Won's past, wouldn't be curious about the reason why she ran way nor give a second thought on why she doesn't want to ask more when Seju mentioned the joke, or the fact that she also stopped drinking. It's not that hard to see if Seju has feelings for one person, she won't sit in the same table with them, go out with them for some fresh air and talk about casual things of her life or wonder about the other if she doesn't. Just straight back to the hotel or book a room if it's merely sexual attraction.

For those who have yet understood clearly the first scene, I'm Korean and we've been discussing this inner fight of Seju as well so we translated it this way. First of all, The language/tone Seju uses to talk with Won in this chapter has become softer, not that cautious/cold anymore. I guess it's because Seju realizes Won really is a good person that won't attack or take advantage of her like others so she now puts her guard down.
For the statement "treat me as a complete drunk", it can also be translated as "she completely treats me as a drunk". Both just implied Seju's frustration over Won not seeing her as a sober one. Because she was indeed not that drunk, she still knew it was the "young caretaker" who carried her to bed or didn't faint out like the time at Sumin's house either...When she asked Won "Or?", it really means she was expecting something else since in Korean version, Won uses this word "그럼..." (or, so, then?) a lot to suggest another option for Seju when she asked her something, for ex, the time Won offered Seju some food (tangerine or(then).. chocolate or...) or the time Seju said she went into her room without consent and Won also replied (or..., shall we reinstall the door lock?)...So it seems to Seju that Won always has some options for a case, now what if a drunk woman with someone hovering on top of her didn't feel like going to sleep? Would Won suggest doing something to suit the atmosphere? Lol no, her glass of water had succesfully slapped Seju back to her sense.
About the piercing, we also notice Seju only checked out one ear but to some of us, it doesn't seem like she was teasing Won but rather, she was drawing out a plan started out from the moment Won touched her ear, Seju had felt "something" and wanted so make Won get used to it as well as to her, Won seems like a "virgin" because >90% of us human would throw ourselves in a hot sex in Won's case, yet how pure it was when she didn't even get a single idea of it? So if Seju was trying to get into Won's pants to release her loneliness/needs, it must be easier if Won is used to having some kinds of skinship with Seju first or else she wouldn't even dare lay a hand on her boss.
But thinking back, it still makes sense since Seju's physical needs was mostly started from her emotional feelings. In other words, she has found a "right sex partner". Emotionally, Won treats her nicely and takes good care of her, she can also share her own little lonely world with Won. Physically, Seju found her ideal type in Won: "young, beautiful, not as cold as she looks", and now even strong, muscular,...Seju also has a long term passion for swimming when she wanted to install a pool in Hello Studio but eventually stopped by Sumin, or she prioritized going to the beach/island for holiday. Now how perfect it will be if she has a girlfriend who used to be a swimmer? Won fits Seju's needs really well after a long time being neglected as said, physically and emotionally by Sumin. So it's not a surprise to me if she wants sex or even have feelings for Won first. But I could be wrong, it's still possible if Won has loved Seju at first sight.

To add on to your notion of Seju noticing Wons caring nature, I think she might have also been testing it out. When Won was a bit scared but still trusted Seju enough to pierce her ear I thought that was really sweet and seemed like Seju could have been testing out how far Won would go for her. Seju rushed Won into it then took care of her in return quite well.
In addition to this, I also totally agree with the Seju familiarizing herself to Won idea. Seju rubs Wons ears and takes any chance to touch her and look after her. More proof is while Won was bending down for Seju when she was on the phone. This shows that Seju has been looking after her piercing ALOT so much that Won knows how to react to Seju and to bend down in habit. In the scene when Seju is reading I think Won expected Seju to say something or check her ear and thats why she was glancing at Seju. Guess Presidents plan is working out after all (▰˘◡˘▰)
I think I read on older posts that there is an idea that Seju might not even notice her feelings for Won yet and she is doing this without realizing her attraction. I personally think Seju notices that she is getting closer and she is breaking her "Habit" cycle. She knows she has a problem with running from people. It was shown in ch.110-111. On chapter 110, where she acknowledges her habit of running. She then has her flash back when she displayed her habit of running from new people for the sake of Sumin. Now she is starting to break out of her shell and is stopping her habit by warming up to Won.
I agree with your final idea that Won is the perfect match for Seju. I hope the next chapter is about Seju learning to swim from Won or at least Won swimming for Seju. I want Won to show off her abs so Seju can fully awaken to her attraction. Can't wait for the new chapter! GO TEAM BRINK (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
At this rate it seems Seju does want to have some physical exchange with Won. TG's story is quite detailed so I'll analyze it this way:
1. From the last scene of chap 111 and first scenes of 112, Seju wanted to lean for a kiss or even have sex with Won since her right hand was grabbing Won's shirt but eventually fell off while her left hand was somehow ready to strip off her pyjama. Won asked if Seju wanted to sleep which caused her to ask back "Or?" (So, then?) expecting Won might do something to her like Nammi or the bartender, but gladly dumb Won only suggested her a glass of water that finally drove Seju speechless, "stopped" her hand in the midway, and balled it in to prevent herself from "doing something she wanted to do but shouldn't do".
2. Then, Seju has stopped complaining Won for suddenly appearing out of nowhere, letting Won wiping/touching her ear while it's too much of easy task considering she could pierce by herself and even have 6 on each. Her sided face panel looks like she was smirking softly too. Then when Won said she also wanted 1-2 pierces, Seju didn't give the poor girl a second thought but do it immediately, just like "Hey I also want to touch you back" based on those (rub, rub, press gestures) and patiently explained the pain as if she's a virgin and (would be too inexperienced romantically in their early relationship). So in order to take responsibility for her sudden piercing on poor Won, Seju in return takes care of her ear like 80 times per day, also gives herself an opportunity to have some skinship with her lol.
I can imagine how it would drive Seju crazy once she sees more muscles or Won's abs already.

Even in second chapter of One Seju asked herself whether Dowon exercised which is probably what started this whole thing with people pointing out that Seju is probably already attracted to Won physically. I don't know if she's already aware of it or not, cause (excluding the part when she was drunk) her skinship with Dowon is very innocent, from both parts. It's actually pretty cute

Also agreed, it's too obvious that Seju isn't really aware of her physical needs to Won and might in denial state. She seems has this inner fight while enjoying each moment passing by as well. I don't think she was going to slap Won anyway since Seju is actually a very kind woman, she didn't even take revenge or do something back to her siblings, stepmother, Nammi,.. so it's really hard to believe she will hurt the young caretaker while Won herself is indeed the second person Seju cares for/opens up to after Sumin. I also think Seju has started to be physically attracted to Won since the moment she saw her biceps and shaking her head from lewd thoughts? Then she asked to see Won swimming, and all the skinships in chapter 112. So considering Seju's been a reserved and cautious since she was born, she won't ever do these kinds of things if she doesn't have interest in someone.
I'm quite satisfied with this Won character, she's a perfect match for Seju both personality and appearance. Most importantly, she cares for our Seju a lot, I really like the part where she asked whether Seju is in need of something, whether she slept well, feeling well or thirsty. She also cooks, cleans, carries Seju to 4th floor when she's drunk, like...does everything for her? So that all Seju has to do is just enjoying it. I felt so much relieved to see Seju staying around such a caring "multitalented" person as throughout the main story + Paradise, I have never seen anyone caring for her this much, Seju herself also said she's not used to it, but I'm sure one day she'll even kinda miss this feelings of having somebody worried for her. This is what President deserves!
In my opinion, Seju had to act as if she was strong and mature whenever she stayed besides Sumin, whereas moving to "One", she was like a vulnerable little girl that needs to be protected. I don't know if I'm being delusional but her expressions towards Won seemed very weak and fragile. Just like she said, she hasn't used to this kind of things where she has somebody being worried and taking care of her like 24/7. I like this current Seju who no longer has to suppress her miserable feelings more. She looks like any other girls that start to fall in love step by step now, she can drink freely (which means do whatever she wants now). I think she will be more expressive towards Won, not that emotionless & calm Baek Seju when she was with Sumin.
So glad to see Seju's smile once again. Hope Won could try more with her sincerity to help Seju open up her heart towards others. I guess this "One" arc literally means "The One" for Seju as Do Won sounds very similar to it, and in fact hangul word for Won (원) is also translated as One. Maybe one day Seju will eventually call her Won and say something meaningful that contain her name One like "Paradise is wherever you are" in "Paradise". I really can't wait for that day when Seju finally finds her own happiness by calling out Won's name lol.

Sumin is too happy with Sungji now, you can't say she's not fully into it since this is the first time she finally has a true r.s with someone after Seju, she's trying so hard for Sungji, which she can never do for Seju NOW. She doesn't need Seju anymore. Paradise was what happened too long before, they're too broken to get back now. Seju isn't someone who can come to you whenever you call, or can leave whenever you ask. She deserves someone who can truly appreciate and love her too.

Felt very bad for Seju for falling deeply in love with the wrong person, Sumin from the start was too soft to handle her girlfriend's obsessiveness, insecurities and on top of that mental illnesses. The only thing Sumin could give Seju is her pure love but that can't help her survive this cruel life, and that love dies out after the cheating since both didn't know when and how to mend the broken pieces properly. Plus, the moment Sumin can date or get into other women's pants is also the time she gradually erases Seju out of her heart or at least got used to a life without Seju while on the flip side, Seju chose to live a life where she would interact with nobody but Sumin. Seju's always the one who silently invested more and eventually hurt more.
She got a shitty family, no friends, and an ex-girlfriend who just officially dumped her after 10 freaking years of torture because she has already found her true love, again, after nth time of being dumped by fake love, which basically means: I don't need you anymore. That's why the ending where Seju didn't end up with Sumin is a HAPPY ending to me. Their love was beautiful back then but if there could be a chance for them to get back together, well I won't go for it, because a woman like Baek Seju can have more than that.
