I personally think that the author only means to insert the Love&Psyche myth as a starting concept (Psyche being recognized as the most beautiful human and Eros visiting him at night in secret), that's all. I don't think we'll see much of the rest of the myth: the drama about Psyche seeing his face already kinda happened with no consequences, and it seems unlikely for Eros to run away and for Psyche to run after Eros because on Ridi he has a #RegretfulTop tag, which makes me think that it's gonna be the opposite and the chasing arc is gonna be Eros regretting how he treated Psyche and trying to get him back or something. I also can't see Psyche abandoning his kingdom and his role as king for the sake of love, it would be too out of character (the moment he does I'm gonna drop this at the speed of light because his current personality is exactly what makes him stand out to me). I'm hoping the plot is gonna stick to what's currently happening rather than the og myth: Psyche seeking revenge and becoming king with 2 out of 3 MLs potentially helping him against the disgusting bastard
