I came across Love Stage’s anime as my first legit BL lol. I did watch Loveless and Super Lovers also, which were both crazy experiences for me. I got into so much gore during that time that these were like considered comfort series for me (shoujo wasn’t hitting it as hard)
I guess my first manhwa that was BL was Never Understand. It’s so frigging old omg. I thought it was soooo cool at the time. Now I look back and can’t even tolerate the stereotypes that were super blatant in the dudes
