Why do people keep asking if woon-ryong slept around? In chapter 3 there’s literally a panel where it shows anyone he’s ever “dated” after pung-ho lasted a few hours max. They all look like pung-ho too. I really doubt he’s sleeping with them within half an hour of starting a relationship

I liked the dynamics and premise of the story but I felt like there was too much filler. I kind of felt like I was just dragging myself through the story until chp. 75 when eunsung finally confronts soohyun abt his inferiority complex and how he always puts him on a pedestal when the dude is just a regular guy. Along with how the plot was dragged out, there was also a lot of unnecessary elements. Probably the biggest unnecessary thing was the rape at the start of the story. It seems like it was just a sex scene to hook readers but it had nothing to do with furthering the plot either. I’m glad this relationship is a fictional one too, because in reality it’s very toxic. Soohyun says himself that eunsung is the reason he does anything, his “engine”. His sunbae advises him to not direct all his energy and attention to one person too and for good reason. Investing everything into one person isn’t healthy at all, no matter whether it’s your lover, family, or friend. His obsession even blinds him to his own talents and his abilities. Soohyun is very capable and intelligent, but in front of eunsung, he acts as if he’s the dust littering the pedestal he’s placed eunsung on. Dealing with people with inferiority complexes is not for the weak, and I honestly felt more concerned for eunsung having to deal with all of that instead of happy that they were moving forward in their relationship. If they were real, I think I’d rather soohyun go to therapy and get his shit worked out before anything with eunsung for both their sakes. Maybe something like the ending in “under the green light” would have been a nice ending for this, where raynor decides to do work abroad and find his own way of life instead of waiting for shin(? or wtv his name is I don’t remember ). It would have been nice to see soohyun care about himself a little more. However, I guess in the fictional world it will all work out in the end anyways. Besides all my qualms about the story, when it finally picked up it was a good read. However, I don’t think I would reread this or recommend it. Probably a 6/10 for me, but I can understand some of the hype around it, since obsessive bottom is a hard find.
