That her older brother ousts all the corrupt officials and becomes prime minister so ilya becomes the heir and after the brother returns plus some revenge our boy leaves his family to be with ilya and they become the count and countess ???? Did I dream it all or is this somewhere with another name?

I hate the ml he is just a horrible person there was no redemption arc there was just whoopsie guess he loved me all along I didn't buy fl love for him at all. The only one who was any way a good person was Nigel and he was in about 5 pages. In any other story it would have been Nigel as the ml he deserved the reincarnation plot. It just a frustrating read I only finished it out of disbelief that the ml was so horrific. Would not read again but I did finish the whole thing in one afternoon so I guess that means something
