I think—Doyoung is going to help Ki-heon get with Gaon even though it breaks her own heart, just because you all know how she is. She’ll do all the things to get them close, and Ki-heon will definitely notice her efforts. But when he finally confesses, Gaon is going to reject him because he's strictly a friend to her. That’s when the regret will hit him, and he’ll realize Doyoung was the one he needed all along. But it’ll be too late because Doyoung will have already stepped back assuming they're dating. Then the yearning will begin!
He definitely will fall in love, but it’s going to take time since he’s still so hyper-focused on Gaon. He doesn't even realize it yet, but his feelings for Gaon are pure idolization, not actual love. His obsession comes from the fact that they both share a painful past, but while he’s entirely trapped by his trauma, she is proud of it... Since Gaon's parents passed away too and his dad is just an absolute jerk to him and mom committed suicide...his attachment feels way more rooted in trauma-bonding than love. But As much as I want to see him yearn, I kind of want him to do some completely messed up, unforgivable things to Doyoung first just so the fallout is spectacular. I want him to cross lines he can't uncross, so that when reality finally hits him, the guilt absolutely consumes him. I want to see him down on his knees, crying, begging, and yearning so terribly hard, but Doyoung’s heart stays completely locked, she just refuses to melt. I want her to look at him with total indifference while he completely breaks down over what he lost. At this point, I don’t even care if they end up together...a happy ending isn't even the priority anymore. I am here for the chaos, and I just need to see him completely ruin himself, regret every single choice he made, and repent so hard it hurts!
Agreed on that what I am here to see him be miserable and her cold as ice . I am although here for the happy ending too but idk I just want him to do so many unspeakable things that make her hate him bcz she is so neglected and as u can see it has started .. the way she is saying it hurts . And slowly when she can’t take it anymore she’ll have no feelings left to spare from him oh boi he’s gonna milk himself over that hurt I hope he does
So that's how season 1 ends huh... Wow. We finally got to see both of them ready to stop running away from this madness and just dive straight into it together— and honestly, it feels like this is only the beginning. Now they're both completely sure of their feelings and admitting they're totally crazy for each other, but of course it cuts to a season finale right at the best part!! Now what am I even supposed to do? I literally have to sit here and wait all the way until season 2, it's hitting me so hard already
But overall this was so good. Yeah, there were definitely some parts I didn't like , like Rosa hurting Yeonwoo physically and all that drama, but it turns out Yeonwoo actually wants to be hurt by her so who am I to object right?? They match each other's freak perfectly. Honestly I loved freaky Yeonwoo so much and I'm gonna miss him way too much during this break. Feeling so sad right now that it's over for now, but I'll definitely be right back here the second season 2 drops!
yeah, with this "consent" problem in these types of stories is that the characters want it and agree to it, and the only party that disagrees is the reader because it's morally incorrect. The reader must keep this in mind and have an open mind, empathize with the characters' thinking, or abandon this type of comic.
I like this manga because it’s rare to see a male lead who isn't instantly in love or toxically obsessed with the FL from the first glance—it’s such a break from the usual copy-paste tropes. Ki-heon’s trauma runs so deep, and after that brutal slap from his dad, it’s clear his family drama left severe psychological scars. I think Doyoung’s father’s words hit him right where it hurts because her family represents the genuine parental love he completely lacks, and he’s probably going to crave that warmth from them first. It feels like they’ll become friends during this school era because he’s already opening up to Doyoung about trauma he hasn’t even shared with Gaon; he feels less pressure around her, even if he's simultaneously annoyed because she reminds him of his past vulnerability. He doesn't understand his own feelings yet, which is why he keeps asking himself why he gets annoyed when he sees her, but deep down he’s starting to realize he shouldn't treat her like that. This is going to be the ultimate slow-burn since he's still smitten with Gaon (even though it's showing Gaon might not like him back ), but I am eagerly waiting for the impending yearning era of ml. The author shared a future panel on IG showing Ki-heon totally obsessed with Doyoung, and honestly, I want him to crawl for her—I almost want him to mess up a bit more just so the absolute regret of how he treated her hits him like a freight train later. And can we talk about that last chapter twist?! Ki-heon and Doyoung suddenly in the same room caught me so off guard, and her mom is so cute and chill (my mom would never). But Ki-heon calling Doyoung stupid for telling him to lie down?! Excuse me, you agreed to go with her in the first place! He needs to realize not every girl is trying to get into bed with him; some are just kind and genuinely cares like Doyoung. I heard the school arc wraps up around chapter 20 and then we get the adult arc where his obsession kicks in, and I literally cannot wait!
I literally cannot wait! After reading Dreaming Freedom, I'm really hopeful that the author won't disappoint us and will make him yearn so hard for her (fingers crossed). The author told us to wait, so I'll be patiently watching how the storyline unfolds and how the plot twists its way into his redemption era.
She already told him that it's not like anything is going to happen between them, so there's nothing to worry about. I think Doyoung genuinely just wants to be his friend without any romantic motives—she literally just wants to see him happy, that's her whole dream. On the other hand, I think Ki-heon is the one who will start catching feelings first as time goes by, especially since he's already starting to do things out of character and rethinking, 'Why am I even doing this?' So honestly I think, calling her stupid is not right when he was the one who agreed to go, and is now overthinking it.But we also know Doyoung just brings out his inner frustration
Episode 31 really showed us who the ML is! A few chapters ago, Yeonwoo wouldn't even let Rosa kiss him, and now he’s visibly spiraling, crying with jealousy over Jae-on. but I’m here for it! Seeing Yeonwoo go from "don't kiss me " to being visibly jealous of Jae-on is the growth I needed. The fact that he finally took off his ring shows he’s fighting the reality of what happened between him and Rosa.It seems clear now that Yeonwoo has been repressing his feelings for Rosa for a long time. Even while drugged, he noticed Jae-on’s shirt on her—his possessiveness is finally overriding his self-control.As for Rosa , she doesn't just want a partner; she wants someone she can make suffer, and Jaeon is too playful for that. Yeonwoo’s repressed feelings and his specific kinks (the choking/straining ) make him the perfect match for Rosa’s need for vulnerability. it feels like they are finally heading toward a very intense, dark connection. And Please, no more scenes with the mom—let’s just focus on Yeonwoo and Rosa exploring this dark dynamic as we head into the season finale!

This manhwa is funny with a good plot! while the main leads clearly have chemistry, the story is actually taking its time to build their relationship. We actually get to see exactly how they develop genuine feelings and slowly fall for each other hard.Plus, Taehyeok is not some creepy, cold, typical CEO type. He’s crazy in a good way. He actually has a lot of depth to him, and the fact that he doesn't show his true self in front of everyone—only in front of her. I love that he only shows his true, unfiltered self when he's with her.. glad I found this one, looking forward to new chapters
