I don't think it's terrible. The characters have a lot of personality. The main issue is side characters have too much personality. I care and like them a whole lot more. The way the author just jumps right into the relationship without letting us see how it started, is a huge draw back. The main black haired (bh) is a spoiled price type character. While the blonde is supposed to be a big brother type. You don't get to see that, by having us in the middle of the relationship dynamic. And because the creator starts us in the middle and takes so much time developing the side characters, she forces the main couple together making it feel dry. It's not bad, like how the comments are making it seem. I have seen bad (Love is an illusion). Pretty cute read, just suspend expectations
Once apon a time i gave this 5 stars. I don't know why, with the non-con and the partner forcing the older brother to watch them have sex, and for that to not matter in the very next chapter. I was a different person, perhaps i was just really into bratty tops at the time (still am). But now that i have grown, (2 inches taller), the new conclusion is; it's alright. Not all that great, but it is a light read.
When when i tried ignore the age gap, the guy talking about him being a kid all the time, was so off putting. Or just him not wanting to have sex with the escort because he wasn't kid-like enough, was so gross. Then everything was forced. The story was boring and predictable and the characters were a yawn fest. I think it may be the author, she sucks as a character writer.
I read all the other manga by the creator. They are just bad at making interesting characters. And really loves young, innocent, weak characters with guys that take advantage of them. Or a huge power imbalance ~~~~ if i had to psychoanalysis, i would say the creator was groomed as a younger person. In japan right now they have a huge problem with teens being homeless and prostituting themselves. And with that people are making it seem awesome to be homeless and go through prostitution. You can kinda see it with the manga by them called Ai no Ondo wo Oshiete yo, which is one of their better mangas
Didn't say they expressed homelessness..... read next time. And maybe you should read,, the main guy saw the dude as a child. Didn't know his age till wayyyy later. A lot of high schoolers work part-time. Dude regected a prostitute cause he liked the 'kid' better. I don't know if you ever heard of a critical analysis, and that's okay. It's very normal to 'assume' someone based on the art they give out to the world. I didn't say for a fact that this happened. But i took into the account of the epidemic that is going on in japan and tried to apply it to this media. Pretty normal. Now what would've been crazy is to go to the creator's socials and start bullying them. But i am not. So i am good.
The order of everything is confusing, chapter 4.2 was left on a clifhanger, then the next full chapter everything is good again. It is a cute story, but I'm not as invested because either the plot doesn’t actually plot or it is the uploaders . It is cute if you just take it as shorts. But so far the story is jumbled
Chapter 1 to 35 Mokhwa is just a little guy, not pure. I hate how namkwon keeps treating him like he is some dumb girl (girls are not dumb but namkwon is a women hater). Mokhwa is constantly concerned about going back to jail. He is not accepting any horrible thing given to him. He is burying his feelings. He talks about how sex in jail was all about power, and it seems like that was his only experience with sex. That is why he isn't effective to use that against him. He knows he is not weaker then namkwon, he just wants to minimize the damage for his 'sister'(found family) and the shop that is his. I know they will be together in the end. But if Namkwon isn't going to acknowledge how far he has come or even apologize for all his actions,, I'm gonna lose it. Still finshed the story,, but lose it.
I'm 65 chapters in now,, the dude raped him again in the name of love this time. No blood, but zero prep work and mokhwa literally says before it happens that he won't get any info from him if namkwon does that to him. Dude just goes,, 'i love him! This will show him!' Then after all that, he gets pissed because mokhwa is busy with his shop and can't pay attention to him. So namkwon is buying a big shop for coffee and flower to hire people and mokhwa doesn't have to work anymore. Mokhwa is rich, that was described earlier cause he was in a high ranking gang member and just didn't spend any money. He didn't need namkwon's refinancing. For a ex convict it is important to have stability and routine. Something that is their own. Namkwon doesn't respect anything that is his. Never even apologized, just brought him food and said that he is doing a great job at repenting. Dude is a cop, and he talks about how he doesn't care about anyone. How am i supposed to route for this guy? He is a trust fund kid. I don't know anyone that loves that shit.
People seem to forget that adults have sex, and sometimes sex with a lot of people. The body count on someone isn't always going to be 'fresh virgin' it's okay to have sex with a lot of people before meeting your partner for life. I find it gross when i see comments about the uke being a 'slut' nothing wrong with that. For one it's fiction, this isn't that deep, a deeper issue would be the constant worry of being hate crimed since they are gay. Most people hate gays in asian countries (also most countries). But at the end of the day it's not that deep people have sex, get over it.
Story was actually cute as hell. Very refreshing dynamic from soft and dom couple. The couple did have sex fast, but this is a 6 chapter manga. Plot had to plot. The manger explained often that he said no to sex a lot with the dyed haired guy, and dyed hair accepted it. The biggest problem the manger had was that he didn't understand why he wanted to have sex or why he doesn't kick dyed hair out (in love with him) until the extra chapter. Pretty cute abd nice read,, the comments over here are freaking out for no reason.

I read this when i was 19. I was pissed, hated it. But now i love it. It's a mature read, and if you think in black and white you definitely won't like this manga.
1. The story is unique, in a over saturated media of tough boys with soft bottoms with the most that happened is misunderstandings and toxic jealousy. This was a refreshing read. The down side was the one volume. Can't ho into great detail so you have to infer a lot about the situation. But there was plenty of panels with hints of their past that let the reader put together the story.
2. The characters are unique. One is bubbly and flashy. The other is cold and edgy
Then the fire starter is manly and understanding. I like the personality types, especially when they are exaggerated. Normally it is just a soft personality with a ceo type. When you can make your main characters all cry and are not afraid to make them ugly, then you know you are a good writer.
3. Art is unique. People talk about old yaoi art and how it was so bad. Well now it's hard to tell one artist from the other. All so boring, i enjoy when i can tell who the writer is based on their unique style. I appreciate when creators find an art syle and keep at it, not giving into the annoying, "it's not aesthetic" art that has been normalized. It brings in the normi stright teens that all loves only the art that ai does.
Now for me to just explain the plot. The main couple I'll call long haired bf Goldie and then emo bf Red, then the 3rd wheel is Wheeler.
2 bfs just start adulthood (out of their parents house). They are childhood friends turned lovers. They where eachothers first for everything. Red and Goldie both are very content in the relationship. They both constantly think about eachother. It is not an unhappy relationship.
First chapter
Goldie goes to a bath house and meets Wheeler first. Wheeler is very different from both Goldie and Red (both of them would fit the more normal bottom stereotype). Goldie even comments on how he is more his physical type then Red is. This leads the audience to think he is going to be the one that fucks up. And i believe in another universe, Goldie would. If he ran into him more at the bathhouse i strongly believe they would have at least kissed. The chapter ends with Goldie being supportive about Red making new friends and joining clubs. Goldie also eventually takes Red to the bathhouse and mentions that he saw a guy that goes to Red's college. This is very important, because it shows Goldie, even though he found Wheeler attractive Goldie isn't trying to hide or keep Red from him.
Second chapter
Red is in the same club as Wheeler, joined mostly from Wheeler mentioning outside people can join. Red wants to have Goldie go. I think this is important to remember since he didn’t join the club cause Wheeler was hot or nice to him. And shows that Red loves Goldie very much and thinks about him just as much as Goldie does. We also find out that Wheeler is in love with a close friend, so he is not a problem romantically for any of the characters.
3rd
Wrinkles begin. The drama. The juice. Red goes to the bathhouse meets Wheeler, finds that Wheeler is the same guy that Goldie was talking about. At this point Red doesn't like Wheeler, feels mislead into joining the club by him. They are in the bath, Red gets overheated, Wheeler helps. Pure masculine energy has gotten Red kinda fucked up. Wheeler has that caring personality and a good 6th sense. (In the first chapter you can see that he has a great gay-dar could feel that Goldie was eyeing him up.) So after Red faints, Wheeler wants to feed him. They lightly flirt, then shit goes down. As in Red goes home abd does not tell his bf about the incident. Unlike when Goldie meet Wheeler. Instead Red has sex with Goldie while trying to push down the feelings. I believe what happened is that it is new, both Red and Goldie only know eachother. A big thing for this couple is that they are a switch couple, and if you have never meet a gay guy before let me tell you. They like it up the ass (words from the multiple gay dudes in my life, there is literally a epidemic of near zero tops in my town). They like sex cause they are guys. Not all men, but in this, they are MEN. That's why i love this manga, it tells a story not just for the stright women gaze.
4th
Red is on a camp trip. Wheeler is on the phone with his unrequited love.Red is a little feverish after falling in the river, the little bit of resilience that Red once had, will be gone. Giving into worldly pleasures are going down. Wheeler masculine caring attitude comes into effect, Wheeler tells Red to rest in his tent. Red is horny, and been abstinent from having that D from his bf cause he saw Wheelers big dick. They have sex, given at this point Red has never told Wheeler about Goldie. Red tells Wheeler that he can use him as a replacement for Wheelers love. Wheeler is for it, cause he will do anything to not think about this sad love life. The sad thing that i wish they had more chapters to explore, why did Red absolutely forget about Goldie after? It is just something new, something exciting. He refused to think about it as a problem. And honestly, very human, doing something bad and then just not admitting or thinking about it.
5th
Goldie and Red both don't have toxic worries about them hanging outside of eachother (when though Goldie would have been justified) . Goldie does start notices how Red is far more sexualy attentive to Goldie and constantly showing him with love(out of guilt). He finds Red outside of class going to Wheeler to get his ass destroyed. Goldie text Red asking where he is at, Red lies. They don't lie to eachother(until Red started cheated). Red is getting fucked but his two worlds that he kept separated collided too close. He breaks down, tells Wheeler that he has a partner that he is in love with. Wheeler stops, he doesn't do the homewreaker. He feels bad for Red so he invites him to the bathhouse to clear their heads.Goldie follows them to the bathhouse after. When Red is coming down from his guilt, he wants to go back to fantasy world of just pleasure, he doesn't want to think about what he did. Goldie hears him talking about wanting the dick, but the thing that hurts him the most, is when Red says he doesn't want to think about Goldie. That hurts Goldie the most cheating and not even feeling bad about it. Goldie beats the shit out of Red, while Red begs to not break up. Wheeler sees how much Red loves Goldie and tries to take the heat off. Tries to be the bad guy by telling Goldie that he would sleep with him too. Goldie doesn't bite, but decides to move out. Red still doesn't want to break up. And Goldie doesn't either, but for Goldie to feel comfortable enough again, wants start over again. And that's what they do. And i love that. Personally i wouldn't be able to forgive cheating. But every relationship is different and it is up to the couple to decided how to forgive. Both did something terrible, one was cheating the other domestic abuse. Both don't hide what they did was wrong, i wish it went into more on how that forgiveness process looked. And i would love a manga for Wheeler to have a hapy end.
