Yk I get how the informant guy knew the cheque was counterfeit (probably thru the people who was making the counterfeit stuff??) but how did the bank know the cheques were counterfeit if they’re indistinguishable??
They were numbered, but it was impossible to verify every check at the counter, because it would have taken forever. (Or even impossible. )
I guess they found out the first time they had the same number twice. But even after knowing that there were counterfeits, they basically couldn't do anything in her past life. (Something like that was said in the book if I am not completely mistaken. )
In Tia's vision of the future the man who counterfeited the notes is like a really good artist (you can actually like see a movie about someone being so good that PANAM airways was duped for years.)
The people at the bank found out BECAUSE they couldn't discern the real notes from the fake ones. So they just burned stuff and they noticed that the real notes burned normally (?) And the fake one had blue flames (? - or vice versa) and that's how they found out.

How did ipad become shoulder pads?? In korean it’s probably just gonna be phonetically spelled and it’s just be 아이패드(ipad) or 태블릿 (tablet). I get the pad part but how did they get shoulder?? Shoulder is 어깨 btw
