Keep reading, Minyoung and Cheol are not the problem at all. The story is tricky, it makes you think there's something wrong between them but there's not, it's all the dad's fault. I mean, Minyoung does need to apologize for outing Cheol, but that's all. The real is and always has been the dad. Minyoung is actually ride or die for Cheol, he is here to protect him. Cheol's entire life up to now has been a lie to win his dad's love.

He's not though. He's only positioned as one, only for the story to reveal that Cheol has actually never gotten over Minyoung and that this "stalker" stuff is just Cheol in denial. He makes it seem like Minyoung is just a stalker and then we find out that Minyoung actually knows Cheol is still in love with him and has been waiting for him.
The only thing I can think of that hasn't been explained already is the outing to his dad, but I'm waiting on that.
