Why bongsoo can think about transfer and not jiwon? Can't they both transfer then come back again like they said themselves it's only for few years, right ? Or along the road they could decide whether one of the transfer to the other place to stay together.. After this 1st transfer because they both want to upgrade their specs, right?
I think the point is that bomgsoo wants to catch up. If jiwon keeps climbing the ladder, bomgsoo will feel like he's being left behind anyway.

I also feel like Jiwon said that in the moment to hurt Bongsoo. He thinks to himself at the end that he actually didn’t plan on going right now… So in that moment it just feels like he wants to leave the relationship again instead of trying to celebrate each others achievements and trying to build a live together. I think Bongsoo probably is thinking about visiting even if he is working further away and getting to a place where they can be still together despite the distance. Jiwon was a bit spiteful in his remark and I think he needs to understand that Bongsoo pursuing his career doesn’t mean that he will be left alone and that he should grant him the same opportunities he had when he was Bongsoos age.
I think it’s actually nice that Bongsoo is showing his frustration for a change, Jiwon needs to understand that he is the older more accomplished person and that they both still have a lot to grow but Bongsoo has to catch up a bit more than he does. I hope they talk calmly about it in the next chapter
