Honestly the writing and story telling are not good but the characters are catchy even sometimes they are hallow and because it's a whole universe I think if it's only one mmahwa it won't get this much fame
Most adaptations do not live up to the novel. This storytelling is quite done "in your face" coz it's novel depth would be hard to illustrate for the artist. If it's done detail for detail, most readers would complain for the slow burn. This novel from the series is an award-winning work.
