Not really. Even if it is illegal in Korea it does not mean it should be that way in a story, there is a story that is not omegaverse and they get married like nothing. In that world the issue about gay and lesbian didn't exist, they just married who they loved no matter the gender. They never even made an emphasis on it. It was just expected.
