I love Guwon. But I'd like to remind some people here that he brutally killed a father with a bat for trying to save his son's life. We don't know what other scary/brutal things he did in the town before that too. The town has every right to be terrified of him and feel the crushing weight of his presence. Guwon just really needs someone to guide him through the grey areas and understand nuances of situations.
No I'm talking about the dad of the little boy who almost died from sickness. The dad stole medicine because Guwon didn't understand that the boy would die without the medicine. And a good father isn't just going to stand around and watch his son die when the thing that could save him is right there.
I would like to start a book club here for everyone waiting for season 2 and got so impatient they went to read the novel and then came back here.
What are you really excited to see in the Manhwa?
I am super excited for the carnival/amusement park. Hardest I've ever laughed while reading the novel.
No worries! Here is the link. The chapters are released on a schedule. It currently only has 11 chapters left to release and they are side stories.

Yes! I tried not to mention anything too important. Just in case. This is the first time that I have ever read the original novel to a manhwa. I was so impatient and love this story so much I just had to read it. And now I'm so excited to see it drawn. And talk about it with people and see their reactions. Especially to big moments and funny scenes.
Omg It’s the same for me too.. Like this is also my first time reading the original novel of a manhwa. I wanted so badly to see more of these characters. After my fourth reread I couldn’t take it anymore and finally read through the novel. On the one hand I’m happy knowing how it ends, on the other hand I feel a little more impatient knowing what’s coming next (if this makes any sense).
I can’t wait to see how the artists adapts the chapters to come..
And, ngl, I was so close to bringing up a pretty important scene earlier. I’m really glad I didn’t though
Yeah the fact that there’s just been radio silence abt season 2 makes it worse. A date would be good though… like just give me a year.
The last thing I would want is for anything to get rushed out.
Anywho if we’re thinking about the same That… then like yeah I think that would straight up destroy me… Like reading through those chapters already hurt so bad. Actually being able to see it is a whole other beast
Oh for sure. Definitely going to need all those chapters to be done so I get get through it quickly.
On a different topic. I'm interested to see that one scene with my Baby Boi and his fam. I really wish I was able to go in depth about the characters and their mindsets . I hate that we aren't able to hide our comments so we can talk more about this story. There is actually so much to talk about tbh.
I just finished chapter 24. I can't . Someone just please tell me when they fix their relationship. I'm still hurting from Backlight. I can't go through this again
Kind of. I do recommend it 100%! MC is a manager for an up and coming actor when he is asked by his boss to find out who the actor is sneaking out to see late at night. When MC tails the actor to a hotel he sees the person the actor has been meeting up with is his old childhood friend turned supermodel. MC freaks out and runs away because 1) he hasn't seen ML in years. And 2) ML and MC used to fool around in high school but never expressed what they were to each other. 3) They haven't seen eachother in years because MC dropped of the face of the earth suddenly one day leaving ML alone, hurt, and confused. Later ML discovers it was MC who was at the hotel and calls him up. Then ML asks MC to become his manager instead. Then the story goes on from there.

Rereading this I still stand by my stance. I love Guwon. But he is not a good leader. He lacks common knowledge and human understanding. He has intimidation, power, and authority. But his morals and understanding are too rigged. His methods too violent. His control is too much. He can be second in command as a sort of "enforcer". But not as a full blown leader. Especially when he dosen't see the people as people. But as creatures beneath him. I don't think the town should kill him. We have no idea what Guwon put that town through before Teach got there. We only got glimpses in person like with the dad he killed trying to save his son. From what we have heard and seen from the townsfolk. Like him killing the doctor's family. He has put them through hell. They have every right to be scared, fed up, and rebellious. But killing him would do them no good. They can take over the town. But have Teach convince him to step down a little as leader. Or lock him up and re-education him. Or I guess just educate him because apparently he never got it. Idk. I just don't think killing Guwon is thr correct answer. His strength has kept the town safe from the undead and raiders. Once he is gone that is it. The town is vulnerable.
Also, can we talk about Teach and his sleeper agent habits. Lol.
