Going back to chapter 1 after this latest chapter is crazy. The fuzzy silhouette that we thought was Dohoon was Yuwon. But the silhouette was fuzzy because Yuwon was actively blocking out the memory that it was him. I love this story so much!
I like ML way more than Harim. I don't know why. ML is a absolute ass. Like he is objectively awful. And Harim is objectively better than him. But from a character standpoint. I find ML more interesting. And I just think he can be funny sometimes.
I feel so bad. He wants to be a teacher. He didn't ask for any of this. They said the program and that profession is strick woth suppressants. What will it mean for him if they find out he got pregnant? Even if he did terminate. I really don't want to see his career end before it even starts.
Okay okay. So. MC and ML were in a 7 year sexless relationship due to ML's trauma around sex. He refused to sleep with anyone and even spent all his previous ruts alone. But encouraged MC to sleep with someone because he didn't think it was fair to MC. But he also hated the idea of MC sleeping with someone else because of jealousy reasons. So because both stayed loyal for those 7 years they both were in this strange state of yearning for eachother but never getting any release for it. Then MC mutated into a recessive omega and kept it hidden from ML (after he EVENTUALLY realized what was going on with his own body. Medical professional btw). Then he sleeps with the ML during his rut and hid the fact from ML that it was him. Thus making ML think he cheated on MC after 7 years of loyalty. ML of course feels bad and feels like the responsible thing to do is to confess to cheating and break up. (I think it's so fucked up MC is letting ML think he cheated and slept with some random Omega). So now they are both in their feeling and hurt. The frustration and pain and angst that has been building up for those 7 years came out and broke the already extremely fractured relationship that was built on a shaky foundation at best. They are a mess. Also am I remembering correctly that MC might be pregnant? Or am I thinking of a different story.

ML never told MC about his trauma, so MC assumes ML simply hates betas and therefore could never truly love him. ML keeps saying cruel things to MC because, in a way, he really does hate betas, but he’s also deeply in love with MC. Because of his trauma, ML despises himself, and he believes that loving MC would only taint or hurt him.
Meanwhile, MC convinces himself that ML only agreed to date him because MC confessed first, and ML didn’t want to lose their close friendship. To MC, this is practically confirmed by the fact that their relationship has never felt romantic. They don’t do anything couples usually do only the same things they used to do as friends.

You're right. They have the usual communication issues but the deeper trauma stuff is also getting in the way. I don't know why I can't stop reading this. It's exhausting me lol. But it is interesting to think about how their relationship was in this stagnant state for so long. Now a floodgate has been forcefully opened and all that stagnant water is moving now. So we'll see where this story goes. I'm already on the boat. Might as well ride it to the end.

Look. I don't particularly like the ML. And I do like the MC. But come on. Sometimes the MC is just too dense. Like there is low self esteem and then there is being as dense as Osmium.
Am I the only one who low key likes the ML as a character? He's unexpectedly funny, a bitch, and dense. He does mental gymnastics and see saws his thoughts and views on his "relationship" with MC. He's the kind of person who could become a better person while still keeping that bitchness in their personality. I just like his character idk.
