why would you hate it if you are enlightened? you can just hate what he did to chase, but you can also understand his situation at the same time. it's also the same as when I got past what chase did to his subordinates, when he tried to kill them, assaulted them. I just put it at the back of my mind, even when he didn't redeem himself, but I still feel horrible about it.
I think it's mostly because I started reading this with certain expectations and I was biased a lot by kmiyc. I just wanted to look at Dane and maybe wait for some kind of a chasing arc (I didn't read the novels so the storyline is really fresh for me). And I do love chasing arcs when tops deserve it. Anyway, like you said I'll get past it.
I like it when people finally admit their view of something was biased. I hope the others were like you. It doesn't hurt to know the full story instead of just riding the hate train dumbly. Yes, there will be lots chasing and begging.
