Towards the ending of chapter 63 it seems that taekjoo is developing a severe case of Stockholm syndrome
Well, we don’t know how long he’s been held there, but when you only have one person to talk to, you start to "like" that person cuz if you’re really alone you’ll lose your mind... and it’s not told much but the man was betrayed by his country, everyone here is his enemy... so it’s not strange for him to start turning toward the only person there for him, as twisted as it is... i love the psychology in this story, it’s deranged but sadly realitstic ( but even if they end up together, i hope there won’t be forgiveness for how it started...)
It is real, but.
It's not a disorder that is medically proven instead it's a disputed disorder
Imagine being in dangerous situations the only response is that you would start bonding with the traumatizer instead. now that's a situation where we can say Stockholm syndrome is in effect
Our brain can interpret the smallest acts of kindness into thinking it is safe when in such situations
Tbh you talk like a 7th grader who has went through puberty and thinks they are on top of the world just with a little knowledge :/
I’m i the only one who’s confused coz I’m sensing a little bit of miscommunication ( ̄へ ̄)
ML's big bro forged the marriage license to make ML happy. So when the FL said they were tech. never married and the ML had the paper to prove it; he saw it as her lying trying to make their relationship less special so she can "move on". the issue is that she's trying to hide the even bigger elephant in the room with more lies and ML is figuring it out. slowly. I hope this helped (●'◡'●)ノ

This could have been relatively better if it was a relationship between students and not teacher and student
