Alcohol and drug abuse is so wrong, no matter the circumstances, how is that even a question?! If your friend cannot connect with sober people while he himself is sober, then he has serious issues. I would distance myself from him and his toxic influence.

Ok fisrt of all, him saying that is just a fucking excuse.....people who think highly of themselves get the most pain in life...
And him doing that is wrong if he keeps on doing it daily, it can kill him more faster when he's old....
And drinking just to fit in? I get it he wants more freinds or other things but doing that just means he's two face....DONT DRINK JUST TO FUCKING FIT IT, THAT IS JUST WEONG.....

If he's a self centered and selfish person why are you friends with him in the first place? The thing about alcohol is not as important as how you feel about this "friend".
Drinking and smoking doesn't make you a bad person you know right? If he only does it to fit in he's a bit stupid or very influenciable and if he does it because he likes it I don't see the problem. It's not wrong to want to fit in, everyone wants that but the way you try to fit in can diverse from person to person, you can do it the right or the wrong way.

I'm just wondering why you're asking for advice on a manga website but i hope you get helpful answers.....

maybe you could tell him how you perceive his behaviour and how you think of him drinking to fit in (if you consider that person a more or less important friend). he might also not be too happy with his situation and saying things the way you see them in a constructive way is always good :)

Just based on what you wrote, it sounds like you really want to switch to something in the entertainment industry, but are afraid to find a job in that business. My advise: why don't you talk to people who has or had studied something like that? It may give you some insight.
And if it is that you don't know what to do, at all, than my advise is to talk to people. Talk to your friends, family and so on to ask what they think that would suit you. Talk to different people who are majoring the subject you are intersted in. Or look on the internet and search something you're interested in and look if that's a possiblity.
If you don't give up and keep on moving, I think you will find your answer.
I hope this will help!

I think you should minor in theatre arts or psychology. It leaves the door open for you in those fields without cutting off a sure bet such as chemical engineering. I'm also a college student who recently changed my major. I know how hard it is to just pick a career and stick with it. But keep in mind you don't have to that's why they offer minors. So that you'll always have a backup plan.

For kpop I love BTS and FTISLAND but for something different you should check out Japanese rock. my favorite bands are SPYAIR and ONE OK ROCK, but Japan's whole rock genre is really good!

Also SPYAIR did a lot of anime openings and endings before so you might know them already... They did haikyuu's openings and some for gintama but my favorite songs from them is JUST ONE LIFE from samurai flamenco and WENDY it's you

Also Oldcodex is a great band. And grandrodeo to. Grandrodeo's done a lot of openings and endings. Most of the kuroko openings, togainu no chi, karneval etc.
