I don't know why people are hating karino cause he was protecting Azusa the whole time, to me atleast.
Since their first year karino was obsessed with Azusa as we see in the chapter. He knew that Azusa was flashy and has a lot of pride, and he wanted Azusa to himself in an obsessed also kinda twisted way, he want to messed him up and he rape him( which in yaoi world often happen , which I conclude as seme being obsessive and possesive of uke) he became king so that he can have Azusa obey him however he want as he knew that he will never have Azusa either way.
He cornered Azusa in a way that Azusa will never say no to him, like when he gave permit to his classmates to rape him but when Azusa was captured he helped him again, he drive Azusa to the corner so that Azusa will only see him, we can know this in the chapter where Azusa mother was call and asked karino to pretend to be friends, karino was first hesitant but azusa told that he had no one other then him to asked in which karino stayed.
Karino also knew that Azusa have a lot of enemy because of his character whether he is king or not, if you see end of chapter 9, there is subtly hint between convo of atsumu and kuze on how karino was protecting Azusa and karino care for him which kuze notice but I think karino hasn't realised his feelings for azusa yet.

Killing stalking and caste heaven are completely different manga.... different author.... different story....so just because sangwoo got killed literally doesn't mean Ogawa will killed off karino too....see the story pace of caste heaven.... obviously in the first few chapters karino is a jerk....but you can see character development and I think the author was also trying to show that in future chapter also....(.hopefully which I wish Ogawa do.)....so for me I do not hate karino now....and if Azusa is going to end up with karino or not it's his choice.... obviously you and I have different opinions regarding the manga......and btw I do hate rapist irl and i took caste heaven as a fiction and I wish people should be aware of tags before reading this manga or any other yaoi manga
