I find it fascinating that (in chapter 27) how after seemingly meeting up with his brother (text message in chapter 26) Dohun emulates/shows the same kind of desperate behaviour for affection/attention similar to his brother's reactions later on. like, the emotionally needy "I NEED you to suck me off right now" very much gives off the same vibe that his brother has (although with less sexual context) towards dohun in the later chapters.

If you genuinely "hate the flashbacks" i REALLY suggest going back to chapter 1 after reading the flashbacks/insight into their youth. Reading them again gives them a totally new nuance - and it's genuinely like reading it for the first time after getting all of this info about their past together. I highly recommend it!!!
