I felt the same reading it. I got kind of bored because of the lack of chemistry, but I'm all caught up

I understand that part, but it would have made sense for him to be more upset about his best friend (I forget the friend/f*ck buddie's name) of over a decade abandoning him. Nanjo though? For me personally the author hasn't made me see where the attachment is coming from because they stated that him and the friend have had other relationships before so why didn't he get attached or react this way when those relationships ended? Why not be this upset over a decade old friendship coming to an end? I guess my issue is "Why with Nanjo?"

He fell for the pure and devoted way Nanjo felt for the twink guy and not because of anything Nanjo did for him in particular.

The twinkle-toes guy was self-serving, far from the person someone as mentally fked as him would drop the prison walls he built up over decades to protect what shrivelled mess of genuine emotions he has left. They were two broken as hell comrades thst found safety in their mutual lack of trust.

He got dragged into multiple three-ways with twinkle-twinkle, but none of those people would have been like Nanjo. Nanjo genuinely seemed to have fallen head over heels with the little star, and after pushing Nanjo to the edge to break him, he got a whiff of something he never thought was real—let alone something he had a chance in hell of getting—and he wanted it.

The idiot developed a crush on the guy who still showed him kindness despite displaying the most vile parts of his personality. His neglected inner-child would've been screaming. Go back to the early chapters and you can see Mok mirroring Nanjo's gentle treatment of shine-boy in his own treatment of Nanjo.

That obsession with testing Nanjo's devotion to twink-a-dink kickstarted his obsession with wanting to get what glitter-boy had. All that inresolved multiple abandonment issues came back roaring because he sees himself as being just as fkd up as his comrade, so he should get Nanjo's devotion if he is the one with genuine feelings. "It's only fair." The shimmer-lad was never a potential partner because he couldn't be trusted beyond his loins. He never drops his guard for people who want something from him. Sunhwa (i think that's his name) wanted his body. The other hookups wanted the same and were just easy prey ruled by lust. People who want something leave when they get it or throw him away.

But Nanjo had to be forced to sleep to him. Nanjo would give his whole heart to twinky and expect nothing in return. Nanjo made him want something he never thought he wanted again. Worse yet, because Nanjo didn't want him, and still cared for twinkle-twinkle despite using him, it just made him want Nanjo more.

He really got messed up by that couple who used him to save their marriage. His parents did a number on him, but showing a kid love just to rip it away and making it clear they were nothing but a bandaid was far more cruel.

I think we should all be happy his sexuality is more on the gay side of his bisexuality (? he sleeps with women but I don't think he likes women beyond that) otherwise that noona might have been his first crush/obsession. She would not survive him.

he claims he’s “different” from his father and that what happened to his mother will not happen to mc, makes me think that the ml is indeed correct that the out come of his mother had won’t be MCs fate but his own id you catch my drift.
