this manga is like high-key racist but the anime girls are so cute im getting mental dissonance
I don't find it racist.
First, it's about bad people BEING racist, in the old times lolol
That and, the reason they hate dark skin is because they are scared as people with characteristics such as black hair and dark skin have the blessing of the dark spirit, whom the last one like that basically nearly killed everyone with it lol.
I'm sure you already know that lol
You can't really dislike a manga for having racist characters to which it's cleared how they are wrong about it.

Sorry to ask but are u dark skinned yourself if not then u have no right to talk because u don’t know how it feels to be seen as creepy or evil.
I do not have to be dark skinned to know when something is racist or not. I also don't necessarily have to feel something to understand it. I'm already mentally unstable as it is. And I know how it feels to be mocked for something that's not within your control. You just have to understand that it's those people's fault and you are absolutely beautiful, you are and can be strong, it's easier said than done but this is your test, don't let those pathetic bullies get to you. And I really wonder sometimes how those people still exist, we are in the 21st century and people still mock each other for their FREAKING skin colour.
However in this manga the case is quite a little different in my eyes, disliking a manga that talks about how bad racism is, and a girl that faces racism from everyone and fighting, disliking it because it contains racist characters doesn't even make sense.
I don't know what it is about this webcomic that just makes me uncomfortable. I enjoy the characters, the art is good, maybe it's the character interactions? It's not uncomfortable in the sense that it's "too real" or something. I can't put my finger on it. Overall, I really like this webcomic tho 9/10 would recommend ヾ(☆▽☆)
Yeah I can really relate to the part that this feels very real. She’s actually scared of him the first half of the series and acts very realistically to that. The duke also acts very realistic to what you would imagine someone with only hateful interactions would act like. The way they talk and act about their love, in the future you no the duke is going to kill himself after she dies cus now she’s the only thing he’s ever had worth living for. It’s kind of sad when u think about it
