I really like how angsty this is but rather than it falling short, it just needs side stories. But yeah, I agree there should be a part where uke explained everything to seme but it got glossed over, so it still feels like there's a miscommunication issue between them. Definitely one of the most unique BLs I've read. I did think it drag and some parts (mostly concerning the cassettes and tapes) were confusing, but it was just that good with all the plot twists and revelations.
