i get garam's pov, as well as jaehyuk. but like bruh, just fricking communicate wtf. garam should tell his experiences with discrimination, esp when he got outed to his mother, and jaehyuk should keep assuring him that he's fine if their relationship gets publicized. instead they rather cool down. garam even said cooling down isn't gonna help, and then proceeds to do that the next chapter by leaving the house bruhhh. this is so dumb, i hate miscommunication/not communcating enough trope.
can someone tell me what happened to cliff at the novel's ending?
No, in the novel, Lillian take Edith to rhyzen and cliff inherits the dukedom with author rhyse. Real rhyse never returns. But author goes crazy and breaks character, and without her plot armor system, it’s not dissmissable. Eventually after a long messy break, they divorce and rhyse goes to the abbey. Cliff eventually remarries a woman who is described as modest in looks compared to rhyse or Edith but who genuinely cares for cliff and his mental health which was still poor after being abused by the author for so long
i really did enjoy this, up to the point where wooyeon found out about inseob's schemes. uke had a backbone up to that point, and i genuinely found seme to be an interesting character (story even acknowledged him of being a psychopath). but after that, uke became a pushover and seme became your standard manhwa grapist seme. so much potential, only to turn into this

one of my recent better reads. i honestly feel like author could've milked the drama more, like if both present mc and ml were both in too deep into their past lives, like getting tormented by it still, and then they realize that they are different people from their past lives and moved on. idk, i think the redemption wasn't enough for their past sins so milking the drama more would have better payoff.
The side stories are pretty great
Are there side stories?
