Never thought I’d be so invested in a side story but hear I am. I could honestly do another 50 chapters of this, sucks it’s only limited to a few chapters in between seasons
This manwha has me tweaking out. The ending is just so frustrating because it all just chalks up to “we all make mistakes tehe” are we being so fr rn. The MC forgives the ML after he was literally kidnapped, imprisoned, medically tortured, and r*ped for several chapters and ur telling me that ALL just gets swept under the rug because he’s sorry??? And the MC forgives Hyeon because “u let urself be lead by your heart, it wasn’t nefarious!” As if he didn’t literally ignore that MC being KIDNAPPED, IMPRISONED, MEDICALLY TORTURED, AND R*PED BY THE ML, and mind you, when MC told Hyeon the vital information regarding their past that would have potentially stopped the ML’s horrendous treatment of the MC, BUT HE DIDNT TELL HIM. And that ALL gets forgiven because we needed a contrived AF happy ending.
To make things worse, the ML’s treatment of the MC far exceeds the conflict that the MC is apparently being punished for. When the ML talks about what the MC did to him, and the repeated conversations about how omegas are treated in society, especially as sexual objects, I was expecting what happened to him to be horrible (like being forced into prostitution at 14 bcs people assumed he was an omega before he presented), which is why the ML holds such hatred for the MC, but nah, he was just kinda homeless and had it a bit more rough like did this really warrant what he did to the MC tf.
Overall too, the pacing is a bit too fast. For example it feels like Hyeon just falls head over heels for the MC after a chapter or two like dawg

I noticed chapter 10 is a repeat of (I think) chapter 8. It seems we were introduced to one character because they talk about this confrontation and I don’t remember reading it so it must be in chapter 10?
Believe me when I tell you this, dear person who hasn’t read this yet: this is literally just torture p*rn. The MC just gets raped 24/7 and for some reason he still loves the second ML in some twisted Stockholm syndrome way but the author makes no effort to show that that’s not a good thing. If anything, it’s shown to be “romantic.” The little plot this does have makes little to no sense and every character’s decision is the worst possible one they could make and not in a reasonable way. This is a 1 star of every sense, save yourself and your time, it’s not good at all.

Other than that the ending was okay. A bit rushed and wish we had more time of Jaekyung feeling guilty and begging Dan on his knees but it was a nice ending.
