Suan Nai had sex with Qu Qi. The only way to fully bond is through sex, he did it because he didn't want Qu Qi to be taken from him. That's why he said it doesn't matter if he likes him or not, he can't leave. Bonded pairs are dependent on each other, especially for the omega.

If you read carefully you see that they didn’t have sex yet. They bonded because Sun Nai bit Qu Qi so the omega is dependent and responsive to the alpha BUT they didn’t fully bond with sex so they have not an exclusive bonding.. that is why Sun Nai is so scared of letting Qu Qi go around where there are other alphas :)

It’s useless going on discussing about if they actually did it or not cuz i believe we will get it with the next chapters ლ(´ڡ`ლ) but I thought the medicine was for the kiss marks and bitings QuQi received (therefore the alpha’s maximized guilt cuz he marked him again). Furthermore based from my knowledge on omegaverse (tho all authors can modify it of course so mine is still a guessing) when a couple fully bond none of them react anymore to anyone else’s pheromones and the omega’s heats are under control.. so why should they worry if QuQi wanders around the academy full of alphas? Plus they can usually fully bond only during heat and QuQi still haven’t had his first one...
Of course not every story has perfect sense, but if we say this one is perfectly planned, it might either be that the author wanted to let things unclear to the readers because she wanted to have a trump cart for the future plot.. or there is simply some kind of slip/blunder.. or they actually had sex (without showing us T.T) and fully bonded, so the author “changed” some of the omegaverse’s basic rules (and i repeat that it is not uncommon).
