Idk the side story so far feels kinda weird to me, after all the traumatic stuff they were through together, it's kinda regressive to be at the "aw are we really boyfriends tho" stage, like, they didn't just happen to meet each other at school or something, they experienced some really ptsd-inducing stuff together and bonded through that. I dont expect the story to be like super realistic but this feels bizarre
does feel kinda clichéd like others have said but not to the point of being annoying... the ridiculousness of some of the "medical" stuff there kinda bugs me (probably because it's still presented as medicine/herbalism and not magic) but I keep telling myself "it's ok it's fantasy" and it becomes bearable lol. Overall not super challenging but pleasant read

Honestly I don't mind how slow the story is going but my heart breaks for the grand duchess, I wish Ria's identity can be revealed soon ;_; and Ria distances herself from her found family and wants nothing, while she deserves everything ;_; I WANT A HAPPY REUNION DAMMIT
