Can somebody explain to me the whole situation with Michael and Linden? I understand that the uncle and Michael's mom framed Linden's mom for something but I feel like I'm missing something. Why did Michael's mom start going crazy and what else did he do that made him jump?
She loved a man that never loved her and married another woman. She was punished for her father's crime and was stuck in a tower for so many years. Of course she would go crazy.
From what I've understood, Michael is a competition to the throne, so Linden had no choice but to send him afar (it's also because Michael wants to save his mother from Linden's grudge against her).
