I did have a gist of the town being an experiment though.
What if Teach is originally the Sisyphus and Guwon is one of the hounds?
In the past, something happened to teach and that's why Guwon needed to take over as the leader to protect the town.
I love how they become more trustful and vulnerable with each other.
They're already married without having a. marriage ceremony. My favorite power couple!
I'm still trying to figure out how the plot will align with Lezhin's official 'unrequited love' tag
Either Guwon, if he transforms into a zombie ("again" and this time, a "complete" zombie), will probably end up killing Teach because he lost his memories and he is not in control of his mind and body.
While another self-sacrifice from Guwon is possible, it would feel repetitive given the events of the last chapter
About Teach, he might turn into a zombie. He could also be forced into a tragic dilemma where he has to choose between taking his own life or Guwon's.
Teach sacrificing himself is also a possibility. Or, honestly, they might just end up dying together.
I want to hear theories about the ending
Not sure about if Guwon will turn into a zombie, but he sure seems superhuman.
At this point, I just find it weird that he looks like he's about to die because of only one bullet.
It also seems a bit weird that the shot came from the hounds, at least we didn't see them so we can't say, right? Even if it did, they should come back soon, after all they have no more reasons to leave the town.
I don't think he's gonna die, at least not without flashbacks about his past.
I wonder if there's a link with the moon. He felt weak with a full moon, so either it's psychological either it's surnatural with a link to the zombie apocalypse origins.
Oh! It would be cool if he was dead and rose from the dead because of the apocalypse, or that he is the reason behind the apocalypse! I do find the first one more plausible. But if it's the second one, they could discover a laboratory under the hill while teach bring him up there, no?
Or maybe we are in a sausage and everything was a test, like in Resident Evil (the movie I think) with their fake cities to show what the virus can do. After all the hill does have a kind of test subject environment vibe.

Are we nearing the end, or are we halfway through the series?
There are still far too many mysteries left to uncover from the town's history and Guwon's past and his marks. When did he started this and why's the town so important to him? and also, the hounds.
Most of all, I'm curious about Teach's sudden, psychotic behavioral shifts. Obviously, there's a reason behind why he is tweaking sometimes like freddy fazbear.
We also don't know what actually happened to the outside world or how it ended up in that state to begin with (we only know that there's zombie apocalypse going on but what actually caused it? I feel like Guwon and the town is related to it.)
I have so many damn questions, and I truly hope the author addresses them all.
Or else I would crash out because I love 945, they're one of the few authors that's been consistent and good with writing. Although, Hounds of Sisyphus is very different from Dangerous convenient store, I trust their skills!
This is one of those BLs I stopped reading a while ago because it was still ongoing, but I finally finished it! While I was invested and liked the premise at first, the plot eventually became bland and the story felt unseasoned.
I'm really glad the mc ended up with the older twin, I was rooting for him from the start but man the writing is disappointing.
There are still many plot holes left:
-What happened to the wedding? They mentioned it would take place in two weeks, but are you telling me everything happened within two weeks?
All, I can guess it's because of the sinkholes and stuff, the wedding is postponed or probably cancelled.
-Why did they conduct the research on that specific island?
-What made Hae geum so special, and why was he the only successful subject?
-Why can't Hae geum remember his past?
-What happened to the guide amplifying research? Did Hyeon continue it?
-Any improvements on the research about an Esper not needing a guide?
There's too many questions in the story that could've make the plot more interesting if answered, this series really has a potential but unfortunately, it became a not-so-eventful and
boring series.
It's so refreshing to see the new, "good" male lead being chosen over the "bad boy" male lead for once. In most of the love triangle BLs I've read, the toxic red flag always wins (and its tiring to see it to be honest).
I grew fond of Heeseop throughout the story, even though I thought he was a weirdo who creeped me out in the beginning. I still cannot believe my boy Heeseop actually won this damn triangle!
This is the first work by this author that I've read. I stopped reading it back then because it was still ongoing at that time, and I just couldn't handle the cliffhangers.
I wasn't planning on picking it up again because, unfortunately, I decided to read Feel My Benefits first because of the cover and that series was a great disappointment.
I doubt the author's writing skills after that but oh well, I do remember being invested on this series when it was still a new release and Im so glad I gave this series another chance! It wasn't a sh*t show like Feel My Benefits, and the characters actually have brain cells and common sense.
Currently waiting for "Things that deserve to die " to finish. I Hope it was written well.
Edit: Correction, I just checked out illuminate the night and had a deja vu, then I remembered that it's actually the first series I've read and finished reading from the author and not the man who gives it all.
Illuminate the night is a different tone compared to Feel my benefit and The man who gives it all and I actually loved the plot. Give it a try if you're into angsty and psychotic MLs.
Currently reading ch 50, I'm enjoying this series so far and I don't mind the tug of war between the MLS but man, its been 50 chapters can Jihan make up his damn mind between the two?
Basically the love triangle dynamic:
"oh you're hurt by the other ml?", "oh okay but he is also my partner so you got to deal with it" type of situation and its lowkey pissing me off.
I have a feeling that the ending will ended up being a throuple. MC is too blind to see the issues in this "relationship". And of course the title itself.
Also, lol I'm probably writing this because I feel really bad seeing how MC and ML treating my boy hyeseop. Jihan is being lenient to jinyeong even though he is fully aware how Jinyeong can be such an *ssole and a d*ck towards hyeseop. Jihan is always "oh no jinyeong, you should stop treating Hyeseop badly" and that's just it.
I want more than like something will affected Jinyeong but oh well, that's just my preference.
Anyways, the plot is doing alright I guess.
If Teach is Sisyphus, it explains why he exhibits psychotic tendencies even while unconscious, it's as his past self taking over through pure muscle memory.
When Guwon mentioned saying goodbye to Teach "again" , it might implies a separation in every timeline. Similarly to Teach, Guwon tracks him down in every timeline just like the 1st chapter purely based on animal instinct and muscle memory because he is Teach's loyal Hound or follower. It's like it is written on their DNA.
Another theory I have is that:
What if Guwon and Teach are both successful experiment for whatever reason like the apocalypse that's happening in the outside?
By Sisyphus, I'm saying that Teach is like Guwon. He takes lives just like Guwon does.
That actually makes sense... Gyuwon has his hiunds and Teach has Gyuwon as his hound. My mind is blown and also WTF
