Again, I absolutely hate the arc after Baria has come to the picture. I like her a lot! But the story just began to feel like Baria IS the main character and not Lionia. And I abhor it. Its so boring and out of place! Like, the main issue is how the story became just a bunch of unrelated and unreasonable decisions which is sooooo STPID.
First, why would DUKE put of all people start suddenly like Baria eyes and get swept by them when he certainly had seen so many beauties and as a responsible, reasonable, cold and strong duke, he shouldnt be so easily swept away doing all kinds of cringy stuff that he himself get nauseous. Like, WHYYYYY, HOOOOOW is this even possible. And why he stopped being so terrifying?! He himself said he is kind only to Leonia and can only tolerate her. So whats going on?!
Additionally! WHY WOULD BARIA IS EVER NEEDED IN THE STORY??? Im not understanding it at all! The duke should be a person of effectiveness and not simply kind to every stranger. But Baria brought NOTHING, no information or any use! And he still accepted the deal? and what is this deal? is it even a deal? what she brought is nothing essentially. Duke had all the informants withint the administration so whats going on with exceptional familiarity and adoration with Baria????
WHY would Duke urge himself to go to the reception for just one woman as a partner when its not necessary AT ALL??? And why just bc of beautiness did Leionia immediately accept Baria as a mother??
The plot is not interesting anymore literally. You could see even now that everything going to be simply stated as "oh, it was easy, we did that and this and done", there will be no logical progress or interesting process further. Whats the point of reading a story that got simply a list of usuall plotpoints of every manga there is?
Again I like Baria, but the story is no longer It given that it no longer feels like a story about father and daughter, furthermore they changed their personailities completely, including their out of place decisions that doesnt fit the story at all.
Tbh i dont even care whats will be going on further bc its no longer interesting. Yeah she marries prince, yeha she will defeat them and thats it. Nothing to look forward to no longer given that I already see that author will simply put anything just to make story end, using the fact she is author and can do anything. She will discard all that characters building and etc, and will just force everything

Without Varia this whole manhwa/novel is impossible. And from the very start it has been made clear that all 3 Leo, Ferio and Varia are all the main character and that Varia is not a side character. And the developing relation between all 3 of them is very necessary for the future plot

I utterly hate the romance that is pushed to the Duke! Like, He has said times and times that he does NOT WANT to have a marriage and everything else. WHY IS EVERYONE PUSHING HIN FOR IT, EVEN LIONIA?!?! She said he should choose for himself and everything else, but ultimately she is forcing and pushing the Baria and Peliot together!
I love Baria, But this one 100% making ne drop this manga. Andni thought finally some funny MC and story, but agai authors always find a way to destry everything. I wouldnt have minded for them to be together, but not so rushed and forced like that!

I hate that people only blame ML and support their separation when they initially loved each other. But because they BOTH refused to talk it out, people are bashing at ML.
In other stories, i agree that these motherfckers are wrong for treating the MC bad, but he literally didnt try to hurt her! He literally thought that maybe he is hurting her and tried his best in his way possible, but she always brushed it off saying "okay, its fine". How are you blaming only one person, when the action of the second, lead to this HUGE misunderstanding...
I hope the ending is like her finding herself, finding love with ML, and ML supporting her and maybe changing rules in their own nation. I dont support break up of the 2 people that loved each other, they both hurted each other, but only 1 leaving it happy. There is no justice in that
I think you misunderstand the story, the point of the matter is— the ML fucked up so stupendously that the FL no longer wants to put any effort into maintaining their relationship. it’s not a misunderstanding when the ml has demonstrated numerus times from the first time the fl met him that she isnt even secondary to him— she’s tertiary to every single thing in his life. what other conclusion is she supposed to draw when the ml continues to choose the princess over her? when he stands her up at events made for couples to be with the princess?
they could love each other to the moon and back, but love is rarely ever enough to keep a relationship. there needs to be consistent effort, appreciation, gratitude, respect, commitment, communication, trust and the ml has never shown the fl any of those things. i don’t hate the ml, in fact, i find him to be very endearing! but, i’m fearful to say that this is a failure on his end. he felt entitled to the fl’s heart because they’re engaged and thought he could just ignore and neglect her and come back to her whenever and that’ll be fine. this is the consequences for his actions. if the fl doesn’t want a relationship with him at the end (which i’m hoping for, honestly), it’s his burden to bear. he should respect that, learn from his mistakes, and endeavor to do better in the future so he doesn’t hurt anyone else.
Personally I don’t think she’s doing enough. Why is it that ml can ignore someone who is putting in effort for years upon years and suddenly make a 180 and everyone jumps to his defense? She did try to talk it out about 5 years ago, made excuses for him “he must be busy, oh princess must need help” etc. We literally see his perspective and everything he does ranks above fl. Fl makes the effort to try and get to know him but still the only thins she’s knows is that he is obsessed with the princess. Who in their right mind talks about the same person over years of meetings? Even the strongest minded individuals will wear when the same hurtful schedule is being used.
And still he’s not even a decent person, she’s out there chasing her dreams and the only thing he can think about is her failing and tying her down by his side. Even if he knows that makes her unhappy, also he still knows nothing about her???? His only compliment for her over two volumes is “wow she’s pretty” over and over???? Talking about “fairness” what about the years of effort she’s put in only to be brushed aside? Voicing her concerns and being met with “why are you complaining, I don’t even want to be here”

Im actually starting to hate how Nicole is essentially doing the same abuse towards her fiance. She doesnt even give him a chance to explain himself and all the misunderstandings. All of the problems and issues were because she didnt try enough talking with ML. She didnt express her feelings of sadness or hate and now we expect only ML to change? When both of them are stupid and couldnt talk it out?
If she said "im sad" or "im disappointed" to ML, hw would have tried writing more, paying attention more. He himself doesnt know how to handle a woman, and this FL doesnt even try giving him some info about herself to help him pursue her. He literally took everything literally. She said "its okay" and he believed it - naively. But now, even some stupid fish can see through the effort of the ML and she herself admits that. But she is irritating more by finding more excuses to essentially hurt the other person, and not listen. Yeah, I love your idea of freedom, but at this point, you also dont want to bear any responsibility over the current situation both between your fiance and other girls and boys in the academy. Your presence and dullness, and also your refusal to talk it out, made every girl behave like you and think that their fiancé wont support them.

Dude please re-read the story because she did tell him. We see that at the market their first year she finally told him "Hey I don't like that you're talking about the princess." And he got mad at her basically saying "Well just Be Happy I'm here." After that he didn't fix anything Nicole even talked about how he cut their outing short after their talk.
There's also the scene where Ciaus explains how him and the princess aren't in love or have a secret relationship. Nicole tells him she understands then tells him about how she's gonna apply to go aboard. She also tells him how they can get the engagement annualized if he feels it necessary.
She's still talking with him and attending events with him she's just not putting in the same effort as him, since as we see in the chapter where Nicole talks to Claude's fiance she doesn't see the relationship being fixed. And she's right to think that way being ignored for so long, even being labeled as "The ignored Fiancé" since Ciaus never spends time with her what more prof did she need. 10 months of effort doesn't make up for 5 (probably more) years of ghosting.
Side note: Ciaus talks about noticing Nicole losing interest in August the flower festival. We're now in June the month the travel market comes to town therefore 10 months of him trying.
this manga is definitely not cliche or boring. I really like the FL, especially, the fact that she doesnt completely crush that poor Argos. The only thing that bothers me, why is it taking so long for the princes and FL being a noble, to kill Kanna?
Also, I understand how trashy Argos was, but really, if I was me there, I would have also acted like that. First, everyone is constantly judging you. Second, no one is supporting you, even your mother. Thirdly, no one is paying trully any attention to you. Fourth, even this upright first prince has an idea to kill you given the chances...yeah, he failed FL
But in the second lifetime, he has changed A LOT!!

Hestia is a solid middle. I dont hate her but also i dont love her or like her. She had these thoughts about world of the novel and etc which influenced how she saw the characters. I dont like how she got her revenge and I think it was really harsh given that these people didnt do it on purpose. Additionally she babied Cael tooooo much as if she didnt consider him as a human or an adult. However, i like that she was ready to do everything for Cael. I liked how she played everyone. But tbh, it also felt like the universe was on her side and she blamed og FL for that ahahhaha.
I dont hate but i dislike Diana. I think in some way she deserved it but at the same time like it was too harsh or too strange how her character just changed out of nowhere idk - from sweet and kind to stupid and selfish.
I like Helios. He actually is really smart and sweet guy. Like he did all the things correct except ignoring his best friends struggles. He caught that he is in the wrong on time and at the same time he wanted to be a good husband and lover. I think he is on the solid like bar.
I LOVE CAEL OFC. He is really a perfect man but I think he lacks some spice to make me scream for him. He is beautiful, smart, and has great body what can i say? He acts right and has the right attitude towards everything. I think he is the version I want to be.

Story itself is more like 7/10. I got interested in where everything is going but it somewhat felt like torture dragging towards the next chapters. I liked the designs of characters but the decisions and necessity of actions was trully out of place or seemed to have a little influence idk. it seemed really like reading something that already has predetermined results and luck. So yeah not boring but not exciting either. Still thank you for the reading!
