Mokyeon is perfect to scratch that Nanjo's savior complex itch right now. However Mok has at this point a failed suicide attempt with clear intent under his belt and if he mentions again this intent to kill himself to Nanjo he is beyond therapy. He needs to be put under psychiatric care as he is a threat to himself. This is how it should be done in real life but I know that this is bl world and everything is flowers and rainbows. Attempted suicide and depression is no joke and families struggle with their loved ones trying to treat it.

But still, even if it is a BL, I hope the author does take it seriously. I mean, there are other stories like the Golden Palace one, but I hope it isn't used as means for a plot only, if you get what I mean? Like, nothing bad with hoping. (._.)

I really think that this is veeery loosely based on the novel the piano student by Lea Singer that describes the real life relationship between Horowitz and Nico Kaufman. Although in this the traits and personality of Horowitz are broken into the characters of Heejay and Garam. Heejay also channels Rachmaninof and Garam Kaufman. The choice of the 3rd piano concerto is not by chance either. Rachmaninof stated that Horowitz played it better than himself. That said this is peak!

Well, it is a real life story. Horowitz was famously taciturn, difficult aand completely immersed in his music (Not to mention extremely closeted as a gay man) and Kaufman was a young handsome man who saw music as a way to meet his lover. The book was based on their correspondence who Kaufman donated after his own death.
