Can you elaborate on why you think Jaeyi is being manipulative? Like yeah Ideum is inexperienced and maybe a bit naive, but the terms of their relationship were pretty clear from the start. It seemed like they were both fine with a physical relationship at the beginning, but it’s obvious both of them are starting to catch feelings now.
Jiseong (Jaeyi’s big brother) is the one I’m talking about, because almost everybody is ship them, while Jaeyi was a kind and caring person with Ideum, Jiseong is a snake already.

For some reason, this really gets on my nerves. I don't have a problem with people thinking or feeling differently—we're not all the same—but Jiseong is just a malicious person full of ulterior motives. Meanwhile, even if Jaeyi is slow to realize how he feels, he has done so much for Ideum… It's driving me crazy.

We can see the officer in a panicking rush to find Bum, not paying attetion to the road, speaking in his phone while driving.
Bum following Sangwoo’s hallucination and suddenly, the light turns red from green…
My honest opinion is, this is the best ending. Why? They just can not live without eachother anymore, and both of them suffered in their life too much.
Bum loved Sangwoo, and we can see, he can’t accept the fact, Sangwoo is gone, and at the end, Sangwoo fell in love in Bum. Sangwoo was a victim also, Yes, he did horrible things, but as much as he was a murderer, he was also a victim, a scarred person. Mentally totally ruined. But, at the end, he loved Bum for who he is, It was hard for him to realize in his state, but he only wanted him on his side, crying out his name on his death bed.
“Die with me. Die together.” This is what Sangwoo asked from Bum earlier… and Yoon Bum accepted, and actually died after Oh Sangwoo in the car accident.

Ideum was ok with that and they are reeeeally close for a while now, fbuddy or else, both are freaky, and If Ideum had any problem, Jaeyi would stop for sure, yes clearly not a spotless move, but as long as Ideum is ok with things, what can we do, this is their sexual life, not our. If he is a grapist, we have to accept, Ideum in the beginning sexually harassed Jaeyi.
