I dropped this at chapter 102. It was really, REALLY good up until that point, and I cannot believe that more people aren't talking about chapters 98-102.
First of all, the ml assaulted the mc, which is horrible in itself, but what makes the situation even worse was the conversation they had the next morning. Mc is hurting all over, and the ml doesn't apologise or look regretful. He even jokes about putting the oinment in mc... with his dih while mc slept?? WHAT? I have no idea if he was just joking, or if he actually did that, but it's weird af regardless.
Then mc falls to the ground and ml makes him beg for help before helping him back up... Then the mc ends up saying "i love you" and the ml does NOT say it back?? Mc ends up being the one to beg him not to leave him...
I am BAFFLED at all of these things. The ml should be the one begging, apologising and asking for the mc to not leave him. It pissed me off, and ruined the whole story for me...
wow where you dropped it is a lot further in the story than i would expect for someone to drop this lol. tbf in the first place this relationship theyre having has already been established from the start with them having a power imbalance. I mean a boss and a subordinate is never a good idea yk.
I absolutely agree ml is kinda dogshit when it comes to showing ANY affection he has for mc. all I know is mc is exactly where he wants to be that maso, pushover, almost doormat when it comes to his bf, mc
lwk im just here for the plot atp cuz i dont like both characters(also people arent talking about it cuz theyre prob jus grateful all that built up tension went somewhere)
I thought it was cute up until the assault I guess and the falling to ground and having to beg. I read really toxic stuff so this is lightweight for me, I don’t remember much before those chapter though lol, I kept dropping cause I forgot to read
For me, i usually dont read toxic stuff i drop that stuff quite easily
The ML is an insufferable asshole and the MC is annoyingly naive. I cant continue with this anymore lol
