MC has been in love with ML for years knowing what kind of person he is. All MC should have done was either confess to ML or cut ties with him. It was MC who said he had someone else he was serious about. He himself took away any chance ML had to notice MC's feelings. If he wanted ML to notice, be serious and cherish him, he shouldn't have lied like that. Besides, when the two of them were drugged, it was MC who stopped ML from leaving the room to prevent anything from happening. If you're going to defend him by saying it was unavoidable because he was in heat, then ML is the same. They are both victims. MC has been always the one making the choices about himself here.

Back then MC entered the room knowing he shouldn't have when ML was in a state of pheromone overload, and ignored ML's pleas to leave immediately and proceeding to have sex. Furthermore, ML's condition was entirely MC's fault in the S1 finale, when he broke the contract and left the room midway through for extremely selfish reasons. It was all MC's own doing, so why tf is he shifting the blame onto ML and even treat him like a jerk or a nuisanse...?
After suddenly transforming MC into a completely OOC asshole in the S1 finale, the author dared to downgrade ML to match MC in S2. Their story was wholesome and heartwarming until then. I wonder the original novel is like THIS too...

Before Season2 began, someone posted here about the new cover illustration being revealed. That seemed to suggest a phase where MC, who got finally abandoned by ML, starts miserably chasing and begging to him. It means the author had learned absolutely nothing from THAT backlash, and even had nerve to once again deceive her super rare readers who didn't stop purchasing. AMAZING
Well, istg the legal readers who keep paying her even after they got THAT horrible betrayal wouldn't care about what they'll get anyway...

An extreme selfish fuckass who doesn't even realize the contradiction of saying every single second "don't treat me like a weak Omega" while simultaneously asking to be treated like a weak Omega only when it's inconvenient.
Most importantly he himself has always been seeing ML through a filter of "ALPHA" and demonized in his head for over 10 years despite ML has expressed his feelings even before their secondary gender manifested and always sincerely devoted entire his life to prevent MC from being treated as "OMEGA" or any harm.

I'm utterly disgusted that even at this point, there are still someone defending this mfing MC who's acting like a victim despite his brainless or heartless behavior brought everything upon himself, and trying to blame ML. They must have lived a life where they never thought about anything other than their own pain and convenience, just like him.
And I know that if their titles("ML"/"MC") were reversed, those same idiots would relentlessly attack ML like a plague. They'll defend any scumbag with the title of MC, camouflaging them with fuckin names like "power bottom." Yet they're always nitpicking ML, shifting the blame onto them, and are quick to label them fuckin "red, black, toxic" or whatsoever. I've been always despised those kinds of readers fr.
