So he abandons his ex-wife for a younger, rich girl who he’s taking advantage of. His ex, who’s only been with him since high school and has sacrificed everything for him, witnessed him basically cheating or caring for another person. Despite all that, he thinks that she’s still going to put up with that for the rest of her life and cling to him?
Mannnn, Na-Haesoo needs to just string the both of them along. City girls upppp if she plays her cards right.
I have a bunch of thoughts right now on where the story is going.
I think Ray’s a corrupt cop that’s actually working for the government, who raised Ban with the intention of hiding him or using him later on. Ban must be the key to the W Matter or whatever chemical the government is trying to profit off of. Shinwi and Ban gotta be the main couple but they’ll prob be put through the wringer as Ban faces betrayal from Ray and tried to come to term with his feelings for Shinwi.
I’m guessing Shinwi is not actually an orphan and his family plays a key role in the government too. All in all, super excited to see the story develop and I’ll likely let this marinate.
I love these… I also additionally think there’s going to be another timeskip or something since he’s still a kid(??) can’t tell. Adding on to ban’s bit I made a comment earlier saying he’s probably re-engineered with his abilities to hear well and his eyes too.ray probably made him like that for a purpose. But yes I don’t think bans parents upped and left him in the wind. He was strategically positioned with ray
I’ve seen the novel spoilers and yall, just go ahead and drop the story. There is no redemption arc and the ending is stupid and unhappy.
Talk about miscommunication/misunderstanding trope final boss. ( ̄へ ̄)
It’s so messed up. SPOILERS:
Note: I read the spoilers on NU website but apparently, at the end, she never clears up the misunderstanding. The reason why she wants to go back to her og world is because of her mom. Meanwhile the husband and son think that she’s trying to leave because of another man and because they’re demons. She never clarifies why she wants to go back! In the end, she feels guilty so she gives up on going back to her world but the duke cuts her tendons so she can’t walk on her own. She’s stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of her life but the duke forbade everyone but himself to be able to touch the wheelchair. She’s also stuck in the duchess’s room as a result. She plays her part in their little family dynamic but she’s also satisfied with how it ends. The duke says something along the lines of he’ll live one day longer than her so that they can be buried together. Otherwise, they’ll always be together for life and she’s satisfied by the thought of him never abandoning her.
Like girl, I guess….

Bruh, the author for this is the same one who wrote Monday’s Savior/Save the Dae. Both stories have grooming themes and a large power imbalance dynamic. In this story, the ML raised the MC from a young age as a parental figure, which being adopted siblings on paper. In Monday’s Savior, the other brother (the ML) is rich and slightly older than the MC, who has no money or parents. The ML also takes advantage of the MC’s circumstances to “adopt him” and try to make him join his family. He infantilizes Won Dae by referring to him as Dae Dae and making him do kinks sexually like the golden shower part.
The author has some weird kink going on for them
