omg fr I find it so difficult to understand anything that's "historical" with chi and flying swords or whatever you'd call that genre. It just goes right over my head! It's very interesting but I literally can't grasp it
I read the novel so you don't have to! Dude's a psychopath, their relationship is super abusive the whole time, Heesoo just learns to deal with him and love him anyway. Skip if you're hoping for a satisfying chasing arc/redemption arc trope, you won't find it here
