It is just my thought, but that picture show two side where nezuko’s side are people who are alive, and tanjiro’s side where people has passed away(or is likely going to). It is possible that tanjiro will die? And why Kanao is not on there??
But at the end, Tanjiro as the main character has a huge possibility that he will not die.
Of course I want to see Tanjiro been alive┗( T﹏T )┛

Don’t worry, your eng isn’t bad (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ and you’re right about the symbolism though I don’t know why Kanao isn’t there some charas in other mangas don’t show up on the cover. And as much as I don’t want Tanjiro to die, not all main characters survive at the end
I know right, I hope tanjiro can survive. Furthermore about the cover page, I think the author only put characters that is showing up recently in the chapter(after they came out of ground), but kanao did show up after that

Not me binging this manga in 2 days, having so many emotions and breakdowns in one go after ch.57, about how Shinpei changed back to his old self, how Satoko bring him back, the freaking ch. 71 giving me a heart attack for assuming the worst of Shinpei is going to give her his heart… and to ch.77… what a ride. My eyes will not be able to open up for the next morning… I am so glad I read it on Friday.
